[Aight, Abra ordered me to make this. You are all now subject to an adorable high school au where they're all best friends and no one dies. Enjoy.]
Narrator
18 students were to experience the worst day of their lives this very day. Where they would tremble in fear of a bear, where they would be told they were to kill one another, or be trapped forever.
But this is another universe.
One where none of that occurred, where instead, the very best day of their lives might happen instead.
18 students stood within flocks of others before an enormous building, gazing up at the ruddy brick and enormous clock dangling overhead.
Today was the day where Hope's Peak opened.
Electric blue eyes glowed.
Pink eyes flitted back and forth with fear.
Sea-blue eyes watched and observed his underclassmen.
Amber eyes glittered ominously.
And someone's very alive brown eyes stared at each and every one of them.
They're all alive here.
They all get to live.
Here, at Hope's Peak Academy, they will have a chance to be happy.
Will you give it to them?
Keiki Meyumi, a very interesting person, with an unyielding passion for writing short stories, opened their emerald eyes. They stared at the building that loomed before them, studied every brick. Eyes wandered over the group of students that stood near them, scrutinised ever face, studied their features as if they were a book Keiki was reading. There seemed to be every colour in the rainbow here, the hues of people's eyes, their hair, clothes..
Keiki smiled a little. This seemed...exciting. Yes. Was that the word-? They looked around, no one was doing anything.
"Should we go in or...-?" They muttered to their self, confused.

Amber eyes narrowed.
"Obviously," the voice sounded right in their ear. "Ultimates shouldn't ask such foolish questions."
Apparently the pink-eyed one had heard, for they gave a yelp of terror and started for the school, clutching a sheath on their back with more strength than necessary.
The amber eyed person stepped back, and assessed Keiki.
They had spiky, chin-length red hair with neatly assorted strands in the front. A (natural?) tan hued their skin, giving it the appearance of toffee, smooth and creamy brown. He was tall- even taller than Keiki, though not more than that shy-looking African boy who was being (attacked?) by the overenthusiastic person with the electric blue eyes.
He cleared his throat.
"Hisoka Yamanaku. Ultimate Jeweler." He gave a stiff bow, then turned away. "I hope to see you inside." He swept off, the impeccable edge of his jacket fluttering in the wind.
Keiki made a sound of annoyance. "You little- ugh. Ultimate Jeweler, eh-? More like Ultimate Idiot." They shook their head. "Honestly, there was no need." They rolled their eyes.
"A few minutes in, I've already been insulted- hmph." Keiki groaned. "What a moronnn-"

The (once-closed) brown eyes glared at him. She swept by them, her braids flowing behind her; two twin tails. They came very nearly close to smacking them in the face, but just missed.
"So, hi! hihihihi! I'm Suko! Ultimate Gunman! I shoot things! What do you do? Is that a lamb hat? Can I borrow it? It's adorable! I love it! I wouldn't shoot it!"
Suko Nobu had been unleashed on the general public.
The sea-blue eyes glanced around, landing on Suko. A frown settled on their owner's face. "Classmate! Stop harassing your companions! We are to behave as Ultimates, not-" He was walking toward Suko, doing too-fast shakes of his head. "No! Apologize to him at once. We shall not be late to our first-"
"Shove it," the girl with the braids spat at him. He shut up quickly. Suko gave her a delighted grin and she returned it with a dark glare that spoke of bloody murder. She stormed off, heading straight for the school.
The one with the sea-blue eyes opened his mouth again, but Suko was already dragging the lamb-hatted one in. "We're going to be best friends!" they babbled. "Share a dorm, steal cookies from children, and set the entire world on fire!"
Nagisa Aoki's POV
But he dismissed these thoughts, and beamed at the school with sparkling determined eyes, gripping backpack straps. She noticed someone, awkwardly idling outside the school. They looked rather lost.
"Oh, my goodness... are you alright? You look rather upset about something. Is this your first day too? My name is Nagisa Aoki, the Ultimate Romantic! If you need anything, I'd be happy to help!"
He offered a hand to the person (Keiki).
Suzume Fujimori's POV
Alright. I just need to get some good grades here!! Piece of cake. I made sure to prepare fourteen separate notebooks to fill with information to study from. I wonder if I'll make any friends here?
She shook the last thought away. You could never hope for too much from people.
Femi Davis's POV
His own backpack contained list upon list of things he'd stayed up researching... "How To Get People To Like You", "How To Avoid Getting Bullied", "How To Get Through High School". This wouldn't be too hellish, right?
At least, he hoped not... he'd probably wind up avoiding everyone like the plague. Oh no. What if he got thrown in detention for the knives in his backpack?! Those were for cutting ropes or things that needed to be open, and, well, admittedly self-defense... okay, so he could just use chairs.
Still. You had to expect the worst from people. You couldn't let them hurt you.
He watched the people, chattering, walking by, leaned his back against a corner, glancing about, sighing. Wondering if he should go talk to someone... or not...
Kowai Kurai's POV
She ran up to the boy, and started waving in his face and jumping around him.
"Hey!! Hello! I'm Kowai Kurai! Wow, this is a pretty cool place, right? A school for Ultimates! I wonder if we'll have classes together!" She grinned at him. "What's your name?"

"Everything is going to be okay."
Suko Nobu
Right... Right... LAMB HAT IN SIGHT!
Suko lunged.
Hisoka Yamanaku
Who was this annoying girl? Hisoka eyed her out of the corner of his eye. He gave the lightest bow, then attempted to move past her.

"That is a terrifying threat," she mused. "But typing is also a terrifying threat." She tapped the side of her face in thought. "Hmm. I suppose I can write up a short post, if it'll get Abra off my back. And that- veggie marmite-" She shuddered. "I understand. I'll post."
With a deep breath, she put her fingers to work, and started typing.
[h][center] she typed first.
She frowned.

Suko Nobu
It was time to head inside. Suko hummed cheerfully under their breath and gestured Lambhat forehead. "Maybe we'll be in the same class," they whispered to him.
Lambhat didn't seem to like them. How mean. Suko huffed under their breath, and veered off, heading straight for someone prettier.
"Hello!" they chirped. They tried to jump on them, but they got some strange feral screeching thing instead.
"GHHH! GET OFF ME!" Suko was pushed off, much to their shagrin. Amber eyes glared at them. "Don't touch me again."
"Eh." Suko turned to the pretty person. "Hello! I'm Suko Nobu! What's your name?"
"I'm Niwa Atsushi," purple-haired person next to pretty person said softly. "Or- were you referring to my companion?" Niwa Fish glanced at the person next to him.
Keiki looked around. "Eh? Me?" They grinned. "Nice to meet you, Niwa-face, and Suko-face! I'm Keiki Meyumi, Ultimate Alcoholic!"
"I'm just kidding, I'm the Ultimate Short Story Author- seems boring, I know-" Keiki rambled on, eyes wide with excitement.
"This is gonna be so much fun, you guys seem like the type of people to participate in sleepovers which involve copious amounts of alcohol being drank-"
"No? You're still gonna do it anyways! Hope you enjoy severe hangovers in the morning~!"
Suko Nobu
"Niwa-face...?" Suko's new friend clearly didn't know how to take this.
But Suko sure did. Nicknames! They were already becoming the bestest of friends! "Nice to meetcha, Keiki-face, Ultimate Alcohol-Chugging Fanfiction author!" they giggled. "Hangovers? If it's with you, sureee~"
They technically weren't supposed to drink alcohol, but so were koalas. And everyone knew koalas were secretly high on something all the time. So, Suko didn't have to listen!
"Alright..." Fishface started to back off. Nevermind, not friends! He was a COWARD AND HE DIDN'T DESERVE THE HONOUR OF BEING A KOALA! HE WAS A FISH, DEMOTED FOREVER, AND ONLY THE SUSHI ON THE PLATES OF THE GODS OF THIS FINE INSTITUION-
Amber eyes was gone.
Suko was sad.
Niwa Atsushi
Niwa stopped in his tracks. He desperately hoped that no one could see the heat that was flooding his cheeks. Oh gosh, no. Don't- call me cute. I don't know how to deal with this.
"Ehhh? He's meannn though." Suko pouted. "I don't like him. I want to kidnap other people for our sleepover party."
That stung.
Niwa decided to be petty.
"Of course I'll come!" he chirped. Though hopefully I can evade the alcohol- "Thank you for inviting me. I just have to go to class now." BLUSH THOROUGHLY KILLED! He turned to them. "How would you like to go with me?"
Suko didn't look very happy about that. That made Niwa happy.
