I yawned and watched the sky start to darken. "Hey Ams, it's getting late. I'm gonna go home." I started off, waving to the occupants of the owl house. Amity nodded, said her goodbyes, and hopped on Ghost to fly home.

Title: Amity POV

I heard mom walk in and go straight to the kitchen, likely her "secret" liquor stash. Suddenly, I noticed a small object out of my window. It grew larger and larger, before eventually crashing through my window. Suddenly I saw Eda, Owlbert next to her. "Kid, we got 20 seconds until your mom comes in here, so tie these ropes around your hands and pretend you're being kidnapped." I nodded, still in shock, before quickly tying the ropes around my hands. Eda put a gag in my mouth that was luckily positioned so that I could still breathe well. Suddenly mother burst in and saw me tied and gagged as Eda pulled me into Owlbert and I pretended to be knocked out. Soon enough I could tell we were out of the manor when the profanities my mother yelled grew faint, so I undid my knots and removed the gag. "Good job kid."

"Have you seen Mrs Blight's daughter?" her mom asked over the phone. "She just called us panicking, some crazy lady kidnapped her."
