Femi, had he been holding something at that given moment, looked so startled that if he had been holding something he had dropped it. Definitely dropped it. Out came his voice, creaky and quiet.

"Y-Yeah! Of course... yep, ready. Suko. Can we talk later?"

Of coursr they were just messing with him.

That's all there'd ever be to it.

LOST TO THIS MONSTER TO THE MAN BEHIND THE- okay, I lied-

Kowai waved her hand in front of Femi's face. He was unresponsive. It was as though her hand hadn't even existed, like she was a ghost of some kind.

I am NOT just a ghost.

Her eyes caught Hisoka leaving. He seemed to be acting rather strange.

Oh brother.

Just what had the Game done to his head now?

Well I know you lay in bed, contemplating your own death!

Suzume was about to make her way to the cafeteria. She saw Megami and her head tilted very slightly to its side. "Hey- so... I guess we should be going to eat," she said with a sad smile. "It was... nice spending time with you today, Megami. Would you like to accompany me to the cafeteria?"

She couldn't help but ponder it now. Introducing Megami to her parents.

You lnow. Because of inviting your significant other over for dinner?

Her mind couldn't help but go there now...

Koda noticed Hisoka too, and scowled. She couldn't care less for most, let alone Hisoka. "Stupid idiot." She growled under her breathe. Her "wiring" seemed to "connect" and she straightened up, virtually oblivious to what she had just said.

"Hi." She said slowly, as though reloading, but really the roleplayers just tired lol.

STOP BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL TUNDRA Koda snapped at herself.

Who is she talking about? Femi wondered. He'd never noticed Koda before... was this what she was like? "Umm- who are you calling an idiot?" Femi asked in a "not mad" tone.
Kowai looked as though she really wanted to flip a spoon. "This is just a guess but I think she's talking about Hisoka!" She smiled in an uneasy way. "After all, who else could she mean?"

"Oh... um- right. Hisoka. Haha!" Nope, I don't know anything about Hisoka Yamanaku! He wasn't plotting your death and warning me about you!

His eyes wandered over to Suko and he felt his heart crack like glass knocked against the pavement.

Koda gave a slight cough. "Correct." Her stare was blank, but looking closely there was hints of fury and mistrust.

She itched to bite someone. Something? She dug her teeth into her arm. It may have looked awkward but Koda didn't want anymore furious insults to slip out.

Dinner

Everyone was teleported to the Cafeteria. It was empty and dark. Silence creeped in with each tick of the clock in the corner.

Hisoka cleared his throat, breaking the silence. "Does anyone know where the food is?"

The kitchen doors burst open and the Exisals wheeled in enormous trolleys filled to the brim with platters of food. They didn't seem to be stopping. One, two, four, six exisals- would they ever end? But then, at eight, they all wheeled back inside the Kitchen.

"Oooh!" Suko exclaimed. They'd been silent during the whole process, and they appeared determined to make up for it now. They bounced over to the trollies and lifted up the covering over one. Their mouth dropped dramatically. "It's pancakes!" they cried.

Niwa was stirred to action. "Keiki! It's your favourite!" He entwined his hand with theirs. "It's... perfect." A dreamy look passed over his face.

"Hmm. I hope that's not all this is," Hisoka remarked.

Femi Davis's POV

Femi, despite his appetite, was having trouble eating. He wasn't quite sure why. He...

He felt happier than normal. He wasn't used to this. But if he was happy, why couldn't he eat?

He needed to eat something. The feeling of the grip of increasing hunger, and thirst plagued him... of struggling to make his way to saving himself...

Femi suddenly hurriedly forced himself to eat. He had to hurry, because Keiki's party was starting right away!

...did he want to go?

He decided he did...

Suzume Fujimori's POV

The Ultimate Scientist stilled herself as she stood outside Megami's door, wondering whether to enter. Although, wait, this was her dorm as well. Taking a deep breath, she clicked it open and stepped inside.

"Hey there, Mega." As Suzume stated this she almost facepalmed right in front of her. Mega!? What kind of nickname was that? What did she even mean?

"Like um- you're Mega. Because. You're mega amazing. Mega-mi-zing. Anyway! Should we head to Keiki's party? I heard it's happening soon."

Wait, we?!?

What was she even saying? Absentmindedly, she paced the room with her hands in her lab coat (which she put back on off-screen) pockets, shaking her head.

She wasn't sure if going to Keiki's party would be a good idea.

There was always a possibility...

Always a shadow of a doubt someone would get killed.

And she couldn't let that happen to Megami.

Or to- her.

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai hugged Koda tightly. "Hey, Kodaaa! We should go to Keiki's party!" she exclaimed eagerly. "And bring Suko, right? This'll be so cool!"

Momentarily, she wondered if they should bring Hisoka too.

She despised him, oh, she'd admit that.

But lately...

Her brow furrowed. There was something off about him lately.

And it wasn't like she cared! No, that was stupid!

But...

But what if he was plotting something? Yes, that was it.

Suzume blushed a moment, seeing Megami slip into a hoodie. She wasn't quite sure why this made her do so. She nodded vigorously. "I'm ready."

Tightly, she took hold of her girlfriend's hand. "You... look great. Like- really great!!" She shook her head as if to shake off how flustered she was. "Ahem. Okay, let's go."

As she walked with her, she never let go of her hand.

Keiki kept a firm hand on their satchel at all times, Chuku noticed. She was slightly curious as to what was in the satchel, but never asked. On a few occasions, she saw a glint of metal, and a the rattle of a bottle. The clink of glass. What on earth was in there?

"Party in the CIAAaaa, dondonduh duhhh!" Suko tugged Femi along the hall. "Femiiii and I areeeeee going to the party of the CIAaaaaaaaa!" To see Keiki and Niwa making out. To see Suzume and Megami flopped on the floor after too much tooth-rotting fluff. And most importantly, to rub the Sumi couple superiority in everyone's faces!

Suko is soooooo totally evil!

Niwa Atsushi

Every time Niwa looked at Keiki, his heart was set apounding, like a trapped butterfly, writhing in its cage. And each smack of the wings sent delight soaring through his heart on it.

This was wrong.

He couldn't do this.

It was dangerous.

But just for tonight... he wanted to imagine this was normal.That everything was fine.

That he could be with Keiki.

Hisoka did not want to attend. But he knew he had to.

There was a reason Monokuma was allowing this...

A strange flash of recognition entered her eyes momentarily, and was gone the next moment. Kowai had snickered. "Yeah, you're right! I doubt they'd go without him. It's like he's their pet or something!" She glanced around. "Where are Femi and Suko right now anyway?"

Meanwhile, with Femi and Suko...

Femi laughed uneasily. He... wasn't sure how he felt. Was he doing this just because he cared about Suko? Were they... SERIOUSLY presenting him as-- their boyfriend now? Femi felt as though he had been kicked in the stomach.

No, of course. It was all a dumb gag at his expense.

Suko barely knew him. And all Femi had done was push them away.

He almost vomited. "S-Suko... can we talk for a moment?" he asked very slowly and quietly.

Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume trotted right into the party, hesitating to let go of Megami's hand...

"Well. Here we are. I wonder what Keiki has planned?" she questioned aloud.

"I'm not sure. I thought I heard Suko yelling something or other before." Koda shrugged. "Something about Keikis party, I'd wager." Koda sniffed. I wonder what she's thinking. Koda wondered silently, studying Kowai's eyes for any hints.

Koda dragged her attention back to the Femi-Suko situation. "Should we go look for them?"

Kowai tilted her head. "Oh? You did? I don't recall hearing anything." Her eyes blinked at an unnatural pace, the eyelashes fluttering. "You must have great hearing, Koda! Yes, of course we should go look for them! The party won't be the same without them!" She grinned at her and got on her tip-toes and kissed her on the cheek. "Let's go!" She grabbed her hand.
