"Puhuhuhhu~ After the Investigation of course."

Hisoka went on alert. He nodded slowly. "Yes, the investigation. We will gather the clues we can find around here." He looked around. "What little we can, anyway."

"Found something!" Suko called.

Apparently, they'd listened to Hisoka for once, because they were holding up a very, very large knife.

Keiki Meyumi.

Keiki clenched their fists.

I hate knives.

Their knuckles turned white.

"W-where did you find that...Suko?" Keiki stammered, curious as to where someone would've placed a huge knife.

"In her ribcage! Where else would you find it with a dead body?" The joke fell flat. Niwa, Amano, and Hisoka stared blankly at them.

They shivered, rubbing the upsides of their arms, still clutching the knife. "Egghh- Scary-" They accidentally cut a thin line up their skin and hissed, dropping the weapon to the floor.

Hisoka quickly claimed it, slipping it into his bag. He stepped back, appraising Suko. "So, where did you find it?"

"On the floor." Suko's eyes glinted mischievously. Hisoka crossed his arms. "No, really!" Suko threw their arms in the air. "Like, right beside her feet. Probably super important to the murrdeeerrr, right?"

"Hm. Did anyone see Suko take this knife from the knife block?"

Suko started sputtering.

"No. I'm... in front of it." Amano gestured with a limp hand. "Couldn't have... Unless murderer."

"I see." Hisoka didn't continue the line of questioning. "Everyone empty your bags."

Keiki Meyumi.

They hesitated. There wasn't anything....important in their bag, was there?

Keiki quickly emptied their bag, and a few things tumbled out:....

A packet of tissues, a pen, a battered book, Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, a bottle of red nail varnish, a black one, a crumpled piece of paper with a quick pen sketch of a person....was that Niwa?- And another sheet of paper criticising Monokuma's fashion choices.

Title: 3rd person cuz I lazy

Megami dumped her bag, revealing clothes, toothpaste, a few empty notebooks, a few investigation notebooks, a few books with sketches of a certain female, some general living and school supplies, cleaner for her contacts, her contacts case, a switchblade, an Azura figurine, a few fantasy books, some show DVDs, and an old wooden box that's about 7x10x7cm that she quickly picked up.

Monokuma quickly snatched a "certain piece of paper" and tucked it away. Hisoka peered at the contents, nodding with an added murmur of apprehension at each object. "Can I see your nail polish?" he asked. "And-" He glanced at Megami. "The liquid you have in that bottle there?"

Niwa's Bag

"I'll... share my bag, I guess-" Niwa dumped his out unceremoniously. Most of them were books. One resembled your average diary, with many slips of paper tucked in at various pages. Another was a poetry book, by someone who's name might have been Silverfish at first glance, but was probably by some guy who wrote really amazing poems only in the opinions of people with opinions and isn't worth mentioning. Several Agatha Christies- The Hobbit, somehow, Jane Eyre, and was that Frankenstien-?? This wasn't organized by the roleplayer who wanted two shippable babies to have something in common, no what do you mean?

A few pieces of paper slipped out at last, and a pencil holder, pencil sharpener, and clay dog followed.

Amano's Bag

Amano didn't hesitate a second. The contents of his bag spilled out onto the floor. What was once neat stacks of books and notepads spilled over the tiles. The only personal item appeared to be several spare hair elastics.

Suko's-

"Nope. Not sharing."

Keiki Meyumi.

Keiki's eyes widened as they noticed the sketch of Niwa slide out of their bag.

"Frick-" They muttered quickly and snatched it at once.

They flushed.

"Can I see your nail polish?"

"Oh. Sure-" Keiki handed them over.

"Oooh- Niwa- you read Mary Shelley too-?"

Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume cupped her hand over her mouth, and nodded in deep thought as she looked at the objects falling out of everyone's assorted bags... she supposed she had to share her own. She dumped the contents of her bag, revealing an abundance of barely-filled notebooks with ripped pages, assorted pens and pencils, glass bottles that cracked as they hit the floor (much to her dismay), and a bottle full of carefully sealed cyanide.

She coughed. Oh dear. Why did she have to pack that today? "That's... a precaution. In case I find I want- a way out."

She didn't know exactly why she wanted a method of suicide at her disposal... just in case, she supposed...

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai's face curled into a pout. "A-Aw... do- do I have toooo empty my bag?" she whimpered.

Hisoka Yamanaku

Hisoka claimed the liquid contents of the bags and examined them individually. No strong smell for Megami's... good. He wasn't sure what he'd do if he lost her of all people. Then he checked the nail polish. It wasn't clear on the inside and had that strong smell. Too detectable on the corpse, that was safe.

Now, Suzume's...

He checked it. Cyanide, eh?

That wasn't good. That wasn't good at all.

"Yes, Kowai, you must empty your bag."

He handed Megami and Keiki back their property. He slipped Suzume's poison into his own bag. "And you too, Suko. I need to ensure I see everyone's." He cast a significant glance at Magic Man and Buraddo.

I felt lightheaded, like I was going to throw up. It took me a while to process what had actually happened, but it was too much. I was about to collapse, or throw up, or something, but instead it just all went black.

(Also, Buraddo emptied her bag but he didn't have much other than school supplies)
(Magic Man, who always seemed to just exist when he was important but magically disappear when he wasn't, emptied his to reveal an assortment of poisons and sharp playing cards)

Niwa Atsushi

Niwa opened his mouth to reply to Hisoka, when a bottle of poison fell out of Magic Man's bag.

Pure silence fell over the room except for the sound of a thump when Megami hit the floor.

"Oh god."

Hisoka nearly dropped his bag in his rush to get over and fall beside the bottle. He examined it, and his eyebrows shot up. "Ah- ah yes-" He fumbled with it.

Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume swallowed nervously. She didn't like how Hisoka's face looked as he observed her cyanide. "Ah... yes. We should all empty our bags."

Her eyes widened, and she ran over to Megami, and picked her up. Again. This was getting awkward.

"Oh no... oh nononono. Megami? Are you okay?" She carefully set her down. "She's unconscious..."

Megami was... truly quite fragile.

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai flashed Hisoka a twitchy smile. "Oh! Fiiine! Anything for you, Hisoku!" A disarming laugh came from her, as she poured out her bag. I wish you had died instead.

Out of her bag came a plushie of a flower with a face on it (for some reason), boxes and boxes of matches, and the matches all spilled all over the floor, an assortment of sharp objects including knives, daggers, pencils, glass shards, shurikens, toy guns that looked real, and a pile of shriveled flowers. Also a lot of shredded pieces of paper.

Niwa Atsushi

Hisoka cleared his throat. His face looked so troubled. Niwa- why did he look like that? What was going on? Why didn't he-

"Okay. We're going to continue searching the kitchen. Everyone- ahem, well, we've seen bags. Now it's time to search for other evidence. See if you can find any poison. Check the body. And look for discrepancies, got it?"

"Heya, guys~ I found something interesting." Suko was standing by the oven- when did they get there? Were they there the whole time? Was Niwa going crazy- "The oven's on."

Hisoka stood up and walked over to it. He yanked it open. A woosh of hot air that even Niwa could feel. Hisoka gave a choked yelp.

Then the heat cleared and Niwa could see inside the oven. The charred remains of some sort of pastry was burning in direct contact with the metal grate. A quick glance assured Niwa that the temperature was set to max.

Hisoka stared at the (muffin? cupcake?) in clear confusion.

Wait, did I just become a suspect? Because of my poison collection, of all things? "Man, you people are poison ameteurs. This is Thallium poison, I dip my sharp cards in it so that if I need to use them as a weapon, the poison will be absorbed through the skin."

Suzume Fujimori's POV

"We might've been made to think that. She might've been baking, sure. But she also could've been doing something else. However... what would the killer have to gain by making us think she was baking, if that's the case?" She gnawed on her nails.

"Unless I'm overthinking this..."

Kowai Kurai's POV

"Weeeeell, maybe the oven's temperature served some kind of use. Although... it doesn't seem like it played any role in the death."

Title: Buraddo

I inspected the poison Hisoka had focused on. "Thallium is a silvery white, this bottle can't be Thallium. This poison is darker."

Magic Man: I mentally cursed, looks like they're smarter than i'd hoped. "I... suppose so."
