"Why wasn't anyone seen, covered in blood? The pool was a distance from the enormous bloodstain. Presuming it belonged to Suko- the killer would've been covered in blood if they pushed them in after..."

He glanced at Maji. "What do you think?"

"If the hot tub was a dumping ground, it could only have been a dumping ground for one of them. One of them was stabbed or shot inside the hot tub or very close to it, the other died some other way and was dragged there. Regardless, someone had to die close to it unless some sort of cloth... Or the wooden board... Was used to absorb the blood from the body."
