"Oh, god, can you go away already?" Suzume muttered. It was that darkness again, gripping at her shoulders. "Can you... quit dragging me down already? Please?"

I just need to focus. Find the mastermind. It's all that matters.

It was like a letter, containing her final experiment.

Hopefully, this one wouldn't fail.

Koda Starikuma's POV

Huh? Go away?

"I'm already far away," she growled. What could she possibly want? But Suzume seemed... somewhere else. She was talking to someone behind her, except there was no one and nothing there.

"I'm sorry, Megami," she murmured, slowly flipping the notebook open. She had to find some kind of answer... maybe if she had her girlfriend's notes, she could... do something with them.

No. No. DON'T SPILL TEARS ON THE PAGES!

This was all she had left. Other than the note, and the cup. She slowly set it onto the table. It was almost too beautiful to use for whatever drinks Monokuma might serve...

She calls the cup... Megami?

Oh, right... Megami died recently.

She grimaced. People really dropped like flies here...

"I can feel it.

"Ni...wa?" Keiki called.

"Niwaaa!" They grinned.

"We're not playing hide and seek, silly! Come out, tomato-face! Let's go eat pancakes or somethingggg~" Keiki joked.

"Niwaaa- come onnnn-" They pouted. "Yeah, I love you and all but this is just silly, just come back here. Please? Pretty please?"

A head poked out of their dorm and scanned the corridors. Niwa wasn't there.

"Ugh."

"Niwa-face, please..." They protested.

"Niwa...c'mon. I love you...?"

"N.....n-....niw-wa?" Keiki's bottom lip trembled.

Suzume raised her head and turned. Hisoka was here.
"Oh, hello... Hisoka." There was a tint of awkwardness to Koda's voice, she seemed unsure how to respond. Suzume recalled the slightly antagonistic relationship between the two...
“Hisoka. It’s good to see you,” Suzume stated. She wanted to say more. But she saw Koda’s impatient expression, and decided to stay silent.
But then, she heard Chuku. "Someone's... dead?" she sputtered. "Who? How?..." Could someone... really have done it? When?... The darkness seemed to grip her ever tighter.

"Let's try... the kitchen first," Suzume decided. There was no particular reason for this decision. Notably, there were people missing..

Koda Starikuma’s POV

She grimaced. "WHAT?! Someone killed somebody? Again!? How, when?" Koda looked on edge, like a spooked cat.

She looked around.

"If...if you really wish to spend your day with Majikaruman...then you can do so. Or you can find the killer. It's your choice.

In the meantime, I shall begin investigations. Immediately."

Asahi looked around.

"Okay. Majikaruman. Hisoka. Koda. Suzume. All are present right now or I haven seen them recently."

She frowned.

"Currently missing: Keiki, Niwa, Suko. I saw Keiki with Niwa, as per usual, a little while ago. I haven't seen Suko for a long time."

Asahi sighed.

"That's a good point Majikaruman...but I feel- I feel like it's only right to do some justice for our fallen Ultimate, you know?"

"There's a chance they're still alive, Hisoka," Suzume snapped. Then her face softened. She would have wanted to spend the day with Megami... if she was here. "I'm sorry. But we have to find them."

Koda sighed. "I want to go to the pool! It would be nice to swim around..."

Suzume glared in her direction. "This is no time for swimming! Although, I guess we could check the pool first. Anyone else in favor?"

Koda groaned. Hopefully nobody was dead. "I'm in favor!" Oh, Koda, nothing's wrong, don't worry about it! You don't know that!

Suzume turned to look in Chuku's direction.

"I agree about doing justice. But... I also agree with Maji. If we never find a body... no one has to die... right?" She grimaced. So conflicting, so conflicting...

"We might find it eventually anyway," Koda pointed out. "...typical someone would die again."

Suzume sighed. "Indeed."

She clapped her hands together. "Right."

She looked around.

"I suggest we first look near the...dorms, maybe? Keiki and Niwa were headed there...and in the unfortunate circumstance that one of them have been killed....that would be a good place to start looking."

She paused.

"As for Suko....I have no idea. I haven't seen them since-

She looked at Suzume.

"Pool. Good point. Some of us should search the pool. Some the dorms. Some other areas. Question is, who?"
