Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → Danganronpa Roleplay [PRIVATE]"Ding dong ding! All the time has been used up for the investigation! Please report to the cafeteria for the elevator, because I ran out of creative places to put elavators when talking to engineers! Puhuhuhuhu~"
The video shut off.
"Well then," Hisoka sighed. "I guess we better go..."
Hisoka Yamanaku
Hisoka stood up, brushing the dust off his pants. His nose was runny..He wished he could fully blame the dust, but his own tears were at fault.
"I just realized. I've never cried for anyone here. Before Megami." He fell silent. "Does that make me a bad person?"
Hisoka Yamanaku
"Can't I be more than that, though?" he asked lowly. "Can't I care about everyone? Must I only care for a select few who my subconscioua deems admirable?"
His eyes took on a distant look. "This dorm looks like it's well loved by Suzume. A lot of chemicals everywhere. Maybe even some spills..."
Poisoning, he thought. It all came back to that. Nagisa's face, oh so alike Megami's now that he thougbt of it.Both of them were dead.
The thought panged at his heart.
This room had seen so much suffering. Blood, poison, anger, hate- every dark thing in the world had passed through it. But it had also been the place where connection had bloomed.
And where-
He entwined his fingers with Maji's. "Let's go."
Suzume Fujimori's POV
Suzume freaking teleported into the elevator by the power of biromantic angst because we need to get the plot moving.
She was staring down at the floor... she thought she heard Hisoka say something... did she imagine it?
"I can't believe she's really..." No. She couldn't dwell on that. "I think I might know who could've done this. But I'm not positive. I know she didn't kill herself, that's for sure."
Why? Why couldn't she stop dwelling on it? This was ridiculous.
It's just one more person dead. And then another one of us. We're all going to die anyway. We might as well just lose the trial on purpose at this point.
Yet, at the same time, she felt like she owed this. She owed this to Megami.
She had to find out who did it.
But why bother? Why bother with vengeance?
Well, it's a matter of numbers really. One death versus everyone's death.
Yeah. Just one more death.
It didn't matter who it was.

"Everything is going to be okay."
Suko Nobu
Suko was on the elevator. The rest of the students were all silent. Solitary, they stared as the elevator doors closed. The last in, Hisoka and Maji held hands and faced it down.
"So lucky," they mumbled. "I hope they're taken next."
Their palm tightened. If only Hisoka would drop dead, leaving Maji behind. Everyone was left behind- they should only make the pattern consistent.
Everything would be fine if those connected hands just let go, forever. And lay limp on the ground.
"Baby shark, dododo... Mommy shark..."
No more mommy shark. Just little baby shark left all alone, in a world where everything was ripped from him, the second he got it.
"Dodododdo..."
Hisoka Yamanaku
It was time to face down the unknowable. Maji's hand clutched in his left hand, the spirit of those mourned and gone holding his right, he waited.
He waited and he waited and he waited.
The elevator door chimed open.
Niwa Atsushi
Niwa could feel nothing but the screaming fire in his eye. His scorched and scratchy throat, piercin his pounding skull. The bruises that crept along his sides from injuries he did not remember. (COUGH, SUZUME, COUGH)
Just pain. Just agony, blackened patches.
He wanted water.
The Trial Room
It was the most ordinary introduction to a trial they'd seen yet. No body pillows. No chained up Femi. No cranes. No bloody corpse of Amano.
It was just... a trial room, like any other.
"Everyone up," Hisoka ordered. "Find your podiums."
The Class Trial... BEGINS!
Monokuma skipped up to his throne. The bear twirled in a circle, bowed, and finally hopped up onto the red cushion. He plopped down, raising his mallet.
Before the debate could start, Monokuma gave it a few thunks. "Welcome! Welcome all to the despairfullll Fourth Class Triallll!" Dead silence answered him. Monokuma was not deterred. Instead, he grinned brighter. "You are here today to-!" He paused. "You know what? You've already got the jist, so I'll just get into it!"
"Koun no Megami was discovered dead, yata yata. Blah blah blah. It was so sad, and you all are heartbroken. Now, you all wanna debate over the deeeaaath, and pull the levers when you're certain. I need a new job, blah blah blah. I experienced major personality chases, yayaya."
"Now!" he clapped his paws together. "Let the class trial... BEGIN!"
"Well, that was unconventional," Hisoka muttered.
