"Never... huh?" He tried to wrap his head around it. Maji's soft smile. The childish words, the sweet reminisces- it clung to him, and he quickly caught it, holding it close to his heart. "I guess- I guess I guessed wrong. You're like me, a little bit."
That probably made no sense, but still. It warmed his heart to know it. To know he wasn't alone in how afraid, how awkward he felt. How little he understood this with Maji.
Maji was just as lost as he was. And they could center each other- wrap their arms around each other and slow dance in the ever-moving party of life.
Others spun past them, some falling over. But Maji and Hisoka would forever remain afloat, caught in each others' arms.
He blinked the ridiculous thoughts away, and just smiled at Maji.
He found he was happy.
He didn't deserve to be happy, but if it made Maji happy, he'd continue smiling, ever on.
Hisoka Yamanaku
Hisoka gaped as his mind caught up. Then he slammed his mouth shut and jerked out of his chair, sending it clattering to the ground. He shook his head roughly. "Right! Right, darts-" he glanced back and forth, hoping they might materialize.
NO THE ROOM-
"Hurry!" He urged, pushing Maji in the direction of the door.
His hand brushed past the notebook and a smile overtook the frown on his face.
"Let's go," he muttered to Maji, brushing shoulders with him as he turned.
Suzume Fujimori's POV
" . . . "
So... was Monokuma REALLY not going to try anything? It was so funny, she'd been so tired last night, and yet she could hardly sleep at all, thinking all night about what horrors the day might bring. What if somebody DID go to the murder room?
No, no. She needed to focus. Taking deep breaths in-between sips of her coffee, she made her way over to the musical chairs part of the festival, where Megami was. Another sigh, this one of relief, came from Suzume, and a small smile formed upon her face.
She's okay. For now, at least. "Hey, Megami," she said, barely suppressing a yawn. She looked greatly disheveled and she felt her face growing warm not just from seeing Megami, but with embarrassment from being seen looking like this. I look like a mess, don't I?

"Everything is going to be okay."
"That's not trueee- you're sweet and funny and have cute hair and a pretty face, Niwato. Okay?"
"So come with me, and let's enjoy the festival together, and have a fun time. Let's try to forget that we're in a freaking murder game, and have fun, if we can."
He smiled. "Sure, let's enjoy the festival. It can be our first date." He reached for Keiki's hand and hesitated. His palm hovered over Keiki's. What if they don't-?
