She opened her mouth to say something, then suddenly her eyes went round.

"Shhh," she hissed panickedly and pulled her back from the railing. She pressed her ear to the floor and indicated for Genya to do the same. The people down below were talking.

It was the man from earlier. He was smiling again now, but there was almost something menacing on his features. Less child-like. "What're you doing here?"

"I'm sorry, sir!" Sarah burst out. "It was my fault! I convinced her. I'm so sorry." She wrang her hands out, looking genuinely guilty.

The man regarded her for a long moment, then turned to Genya. "What do you have to say?"

"No, not her-" Sarah's eyes welled with fear-

"Yes her. What do you have to say regarding this matter, my good friend?"
