She sighed, sitting on Leaf's shoulder, trying her best to ignore the commotion.
Leaf's Response
"Come on. The more you try to be insulting, the longer you'll be stuck here." With a slight sneer, Leaf started walking.
"I hope to see you around again! I'll even bake you some yummy cakes!"

"I can tell you some of the areas we pass by on the way there..!" Ari suggested, trying her best not to make the whole trip awkward."
Leaf's Response.
She nodded softly, smiling a bit. "If this one complains, don't worry about it." Even without names, Leaf tilted her head to the direction Jesse was.
"I hope to see you around again! I'll even bake you some yummy cakes!"

"Ah..." She sighed, turning back to face the front.
Leaf's Response
"We ARE walking to the place. Why we're not running or going there quicker is because it's not far so there's no point in being fast." Leaf snapped, really wanting to stamp her hoof on Jesse's foot, but she calmed herself.
"I hope to see you around again! I'll even bake you some yummy cakes!"

"There's the cave!" She took off, starting to fly over. "I'll meet you in with Grandpa Alucar!"

She nodded, watching Ari take off, before looking over at Jesse. "Could you not crawl like that? You're wasting your own time."
"I hope to see you around again! I'll even bake you some yummy cakes!"

"I cannot believe I'm going to do this..." Leaf leaned down, grabbing Jesse by his shirt, then dropped him on her back. "There, you'll be faster this way." With a scoff, she eventually reached the cave. "Alucar, I brought them."
Narrator POV
From inside the cave, a small growl echoed. Leaf walked deep into the cave, a respectful look in her eyes until she, Admin, and Jesse were face to face with a large, gray dragon lying on the cold stone.
Alucar's Response
"...Good..." His voice sounded weak as his gentle gaze fixed on the two. "Leaf, you can let him down. The two of you... please sit down."
"I hope to see you around again! I'll even bake you some yummy cakes!"

Ari noticed the bit of fear from Jesse and sighed, shaking her head. "Grandpa Alucar won't harm you."
Leaf's Response
She dipped her head in respect before walking out to the front of the cave, on guard.
Alucar's Response
"You are probably... confused about all of this." He kept his voice soft, hoping not to frighten them. "I apologize deeply."
"I hope to see you around again! I'll even bake you some yummy cakes!"

Alucar tried nodding, but he winced. "Yes, that is what I said." He noticed Ari giving him a worried look and sighed. "Forgive me if I seem... weak to you. An incident occurred, but that's not the point. The reason you're here is to have us trust you, to stop a future war... And we'll give you something in return that helps with your everyday lives."
Ari's Response
"Oh..." Ari felt Alucar's breathing starting to slow. "Grandpa Alucar you-" She was stopped by his sigh, feeling worried.
"I hope to see you around again! I'll even bake you some yummy cakes!"

He slowly lifted his head, his eyes meeting Jesse's. "Help them." Alucar sighed shakily, lowering his head again. "If they need anything done, if it's repairing something, or taking care of someone, anything... Then they'll trust you."
Ari's Response
"Grandpa Alucar!" She drew back, feeling his breathing get slower. "The injuries... Too strong..." Ari murmured to herself.
"I hope to see you around again! I'll even bake you some yummy cakes!"

He carefully nudged a vile over to Jesse, his breathing getting a bit hoarse. "Drink this... It's a special kind of healing elixir made from the Gold Dragon. Also, may I ask you a favor..?"

Ari remained quiet, understanding why he's asking the humans for a favor now.
"I hope to see you around again! I'll even bake you some yummy cakes!"

"That elixir can basically heal about anything. Your legs should be well after drinking it..!" Ari explained, shrugging. "Gold Dragons are well known for their healing."
Alucar's Response
Alucar gazed softly at Ari before looking back. "I ask of you... please watch over Ari for me. Ever since her old forest was burned down, Leaf and I were the only ones who were there when she needed someone. After our conversation... I won't be here to watch her anymore..."
