Greg had a sly smile, "Fawna, is it me or if we head to the kitchen and grab a smoothie, then it will be like a scene from the 50's cafe", Greg said and answered, "So sure Fawna let's head to the kitchen, hopefully Miss Kaydi will be there".

Kaydi was beginning to set up some smoothies for the guests, "I got to start making some tropical fruits smoothie, I will have to find some mangoes, passionfruit and dragonfruit", Kaydi said. She opened the cabinet and grabbed some mangoes, passionfruit and dragonfruit, she washed them down and soon dry them. Afterwards, she carefully cut the fruits to pieces, soon she grabbed the blender and placed the fruit pieces to the blender, and started to blend them.

Greg answered to Fawna, "Well sure Fawna, shall we walked together?", Greg said with a slight smirk.

Kaydi finished mixing the fruits together, she grabbed some clean cups and placed the fruits that was blended to the cups, soon afterwards she grabbed the fruits that was picked from the garden and some bowls and soon afterwards placed the fruits in the bowls for the guests to eat, "These will be awesome and yummy", Kaydi said.

Kaydi made the final preparations with the smoothies and berries, hoping that the patrons will come in and test her smoothies Kaydi took a deep breath and try to remain calm, "I do hope everyone will like the smoothies that I have set up, it will be delicious and yummy", Kaydi with hope. Then she sees the arrival of Fawna and Greg as they entered the kitchen, "Greetings, the smoothies are set, this is the tropical mango tango smoothies, and I've also done the Very Berry smoothie, select which smoothie you want and enjoy", Kaydi said in a slight worrying tone.

Kaydi blushed and said, "Thank you Fawna", Kaydi then took out the bowls that had the berries from garden being picked, "There's gooseberries, raspberries and blueberries for both of them to enjoy", Kaydi said in a calm voice.

Kaydi smiled and said, "Why yes it is fresh, it came from the garden which is oh so amazing", Kaydi said. Then she looked at Fawna and said to them, "If any patrons come in for a smoothie, tell them that is good and yummy".

Greg sat in the chair in the kitchen and looked at the food and smoothie that was provided from Kaydi, "Oh I can't wait to try them out, what about you Fawna?", Greg asked.

Fawna was visibly shaking all over. On their face was a delighted grin. "Yes! Yes!" They gave a few short hops on their chair and inched closer to Greg. "Berries! What's your favourite?" They whipped about to him. Their eyes shone too brightly. "I personally love strawberries! You?"

Greg gave a sly smile, "Well blueberries are yummy and I do enjoy blackberries as well", Greg said trying to do his best to ignore Fawna's weird and unusual attitude, though he is worried that Fawna might be overly excited.

Kaydi continued to make smoothies for the other patrons such as Luther, Delta, Evan and others, "Let's hope no one makes a mess in the House of Promise", Kaydi said with a glimmer of hope

A knock sounded at the door.

Luther's head poked inside. "Uh... Greg? Could I have a word with you?" He didn't look at Fawna.

They frowned, despite themself, and hugged the bowls of berries closer to themself.

Greg was stunned to see Luther, he left the kitchen countertop and before exiting the kitchen Greg told Fawna, "Make sure you save some berries for the other patrons, please Fawna", Greg said as he exited the kitchen. Soon Greg went face to face with Luther and started to speak, "Look Luther, I'm sorry that I ignored you on Day 1 of the House of Promise, I was a nervous wreck I wasn't familiarized with the setting".

Luther blinked. "What in Jesus' name are you-?" he cut himself off. "Okay, yeah, sure, whatever. That's fine and all. I just wanted to ask you a few things. Promises stuff, you know. Nothing big." His demeanor was friendly, relaxed. "You don't have to say anything, y'know. It's the same to me."

Back at the kitchen, Kaydi wrapped up her smoothies and berries, as she continue to make final preparations for the other patrons to come, "Smoothies and berries are now available come and grab some today", Kaydi said.

Not that anyone else asked..." He suddenly smiled. His eyes shone with something. "I'll even tell you the promise of that cute little lady you have your eyes on, if you want."



"Yes!" Fawna clapped their hands together, and quickly scooted them closer to themself. "Mmmm, smoothies!" They sniffed them a few times. "You're a great cook, KayKay!"

Greg took a deep breath and calmed down then looking at Luther, Greg said, "My promise was to ignore someone", then Greg also said, "If you wonder about Miss Kaydi who is currently in the kitchen, she is hoping to find someone who call a love of a lifetime and she is having a troubling time with it", Greg said.

Kaydi finished up the smoothies and berries, and sat on the chair, "Here's some gooseberries, blackberries and blueberries freshly washed", Kaydi said to Fawna.
