How do you evolve Applin? I know it has something to do with honey, but how exactly do you do it?

You do it at the honeytree. Slather honey on the tree and have the applin you want to evolve in your party. There's some kind of random chance to get an event to evolve your applin as you check back on the tree so it can take quite a while.

Normal honey results in a flapple and super honey gets you an appletun.
