Nicknames: Honey

Brown, Spotted, or Striped (Species): Spotted

Appearance: Small, shiny fur, fluffy, pink eyes

Personality: Mischievous, happy, high energy, tactical, at the same time gets a sadistic personality when hunting or stressed (However, she makes sure not to hurt anyone she knows to the best of her ability)

Backstory: Harper's little sister, best buddies!

Any interesting facts: Has never tasted apricot, is deathly afraid of spiders, and has magic from an unknown source she doesn't know how to control

Name: Brisk

Nicknames: Briskie, BriBri

Age: 2 years old.

Gender: Female.

Brown, Spotted, or Striped (Species): Spotted.

Appearance: A particularly powerful and muscular hyena with splatters of black lining her tan haunches, fading into spots towards her broad muzzle. She's tall and long-legged, with a strong, but skinny shape. Her eyes are brown of course, but unusually cool and dull, without the usual glint that can be caught in an animal's eyes. Hmm...

Personality: Brisk is a quiet, soft-spoken female who always tries to remain in the background. She's stoic and tends to stay out of arguments, never letting anything shift her. If someone manages to touch a soft spot in her, particularly about her brother Flint, then she loses her temper fairly quickly, and can be quite aggressive, and even dangerous. Overall, a very uncomfortable presence...

Personality Type: ISTJ-Logistican.

Name: Zuzu

Nicknames:

Age: 1 and a half years

Gender: Female

Brown, Spotted, or Striped (Species): Striped

Appearance: Rough Silver Fur with Black stripes, thin figure, short muzzle, green eyes, short tail

Personality: Emotional but rarely shows, rarely loses temper but can be severe

Backstory: Got lost as a child and had to fend for herself

Any interesting facts: Interested in females and males, terrified of kiwi birds

Name: Scrabble

Nicknames: Ginger, due to the strangely red colour of her pelt. Skinny.

Age: 2 years old.

Gender: Female.

Brown, Spotted, or Striped (Species): Spotted.

Appearance: A very small, lithe hyena with short, skinny legs. She has a strangely ginger pelt which is constantly shivering and is dappled with black spots, almost giving her a cheetahesc look. Her muzzle is fairly pointed and has an array of black speckles dancing on it, that leads up her head and goes down her back, touching the base of her tail. Her eyes are a shade of amber, oddly enough. Overall, a very strange looking hyena, who's clearly the malformed runt of her litter.

Personality: A timid, jumpy female who's constantly on edge. She's very imaginative, often imagining things that aren't there, or theorizing beyond what a typical hyena would think. She's not a totally flawed person, however- she's very intelligent despite her stammering speech and difficulty with words, and can pick up on things faster than most hyenas. She's also very principled, and would never do anything that goes against what she believes in, always following her own moral code, never compromising it for anything or anyone. In addition, she's desperately loyal to her family and would willingly give up her life for them- provided she could get her legs to move.

Personality Type: INFJ-Advocate.

Backstory: Scrabble was born to a female hyena and unnamed male alongside her littermates, Brisk and Flint. Shortly after they were born, a lion caught their mother, and they were left orphaned from a young age. They learned to take care of each other and developed very close relationships. Scrabble is often the mediator between her siblings, exasperatedly trying to stop bossy Flint and hot-headed Brisk from arguing. They joined the clan recently, and have proven themselves dedicated hunters, if not particularly good fighters.

Any interesting facts: She is barren and cannot have pups. Sister to Brisk and Flint. In addition, she has a condition known as seizures on occasion which make her shake.

Name: Dart

Nicknames: None.

Age: 4 Years Old

Gender: Female

Brown, Spotted, or Striped (Species): Spotted Hyena

Appearance: Dart is cream, white, black, and brown, like your typical spotted hyena. Her pattern consists of much more white and cream than other spotted hyenas, however, and she has several scars. She also has an unusually muscular build, and huge brown eyes. She has quite a long snout, and pointed ears.

Personality: Dart is a rather snappy individual who seems to complain about everything. However, she is redeeming in the way that she genuinely cares for everyone in the pack, and her loyalty is undeniable. She acts so rough on others simply because she thinks hyenas shouldn’t get too used to kindness -- or else, things might be a lot more difficult for them.

Backstory: Dart was abandoned as a pup, and had to survive on her own. It was very difficult for her, and she had no idea about her parents or siblings until she was older and some stray hyenas told her. No one knows what happened to Dart’s family, and Dart isn’t truly sure if her parents have abandoned her, but she dares not hope they didn’t. Due to this, she has major trust issues with everyone she meets. Although, she has grown to trust her pack quite a bit, and she’s thought it better than being alone… but, she still can’t help but contemplate if they’ll all just leave her like her parents did.

Any interesting facts: Dart has never had a mate and she has no pups. Her preference in duties is hunting. If I put her in a Four Temperaments, she'd be a Choleric-Melancholic, 9w1 enneagram, and her cognitive functions would probably be Si-Te-Fi-Ne (ISTJ).

Nicknames: Quickpounce.

Age: 2 years old.

Gender: Male

Brown, Spotted, or Striped (Species): Spotted.

Appearance: A scrawny, mischievous male with a twinkle in his eye. He appears like your normal, run of the mill hyena, with the ordiniariest of spots, but he's anything but. His spots generally are on his hindquarters and sides, though he has a large one on the side of his neck. His tail is long and spindly.

Personality: A mischievous, boorish loudmouth who's constantly joking around or playing pranks. He's got an infectious humour and is always irresponsible, never getting what he should get done. While he might sound like a bad person, deep down he is devotely loyal to his siblings... and if anyone questions that, then it hurts immensely. He would never let them be harmed. He would give up his life for them. Even Brisk.

Personality Type: ESFJ-Consul.

Any interesting facts: He is an excellent hunter, earning his nickname "Quickpounce" easily. He also is the best fighter of his siblings, despite his scrawny size.

Flint rolled lazily over onto his belly and let the sun warm his belly fur. "Ahh, such a nice day." He gave a very wide yawn.

Beside him, Scrabble was pacing around, wearing the grass down beneath her rough paws. She seemed strangely jittery today- even more so than normal. She was muttering something constantly under her breath, her legs shaking despite their constant movement.

Flint lolled his tongue out of his mouth. "Ahh, the joys of living." He glanced at Scrabble and snorted. "Did you see a giant bug again, Scrabble?" Despite his harsh words, his tone was teasing. "I told you, you don't need to worry so much! Lighten up, won't you? It's a wonderful day!"

"We can't all be as stupid as you, you know," Brisk grumbled, shooting a glare at her brother. "And anyway, that bug did sting one of the pups."

"Wait, so are we thinking of the green or yellow one?"

Scrabble grumbled a bit and lay down in the grass. She rested her head on her paws. "I-I wish you guys would t-take me seriously. I-I feel l-like I-I'm the only one-one who thinks about th-these things, sometimes. And a-anyway, i-it's not a b-bug.. My head just says something off..."

Flint rolled over onto his belly and cocked his head to the side. "So... you're thinking about bugs?"

"That's it!" Brisk lunged at him.

"What'd I do?" he wailed, but he was giggling with delight. "O' great one, have mercy on me!"

Scrabble gave an exasperated sigh as her siblings fought. They were such beetle-heads sometime- no pun intended. Couldn't they think about anything other than food and play-fighting?

Sometimes, she was worried that it was all in her head. All the dangers that hovered over them... she just wasn't thinking straight. Maybe her siblings were right. Maybe she was a little crazy... Maybe she should try and enjoy life more.

She stood up. "You guys got room for one more?"

They both stared at one another, then at her.

"Did she just...?"

"Yes, I think so..."

"But, Scrabble-?...?"

"Impossible."

Scrabble huffed. "Oh, shut up." She lunged at Flint and play-snapped at his ear. He recoiled back, then grinned, delighted.

"You're on!"

...

"You cheated," Flint grumbled.

"Brisk cheated," Scrabble grumbled back.

Brisk stood triumphant over them, cackling like the hyena she was. "Brisk is victorious!"

"Unfair," Flint complained.

"Unfair," Scrabble agreed.

"Team up on her next time?"

Brisk squawked, indignant. "Hey-"

And they both lunged at her at the same time.
