Cryo Great... another Nightwing, where's the seawing? If you hurt her, I don't care much, but it's an excuse to attack a murderous lying thief, so I'll take it.
Also, we know you're a mind reader, so don't try to hide it, you zero'd in on us while we both were flying at high speed, only mind readers and dragons with extreme senses can do that.

Nightmare: I wasn't trying to hide that I can read minds. And Axolotl is fine. I helped her calm down & told her to go to the Deep Palace, which is where she was already intending to go before she had a short panic attack. But she's alright now. You don't need to worry.

Stargazer: Oh, that's a relief. I wonder why she's going to the palace.

Axolotl's POV

*Axolotl finally reached the Deep Palace again & went inside as quickly as possible. She walks around nervously until she finds the library, where Stingray's busy reorganizing some scrolls.*

Axolotl: Stingray?

Stingray, looking up to face her: Hm?

Axolotl: Um, d-do you have any scrolls about animus magic?

Stingray, standing up: Why, yes! *He grabs a scroll labeled "The Animus Histories" & hands it to her carefully.* Here you go.

Axolotl, grabbing the scroll: Thanks.

Stingray: May I ask why you want to read it?

Axolotl, walking out of the room: Just... curious about something...

Frostbite's POV

*Frostbite & Blizzard finally make it back to Stargazer's base, and Frostbite practically collapses on the floor, letting his wings sprawl out on the ground beside him.*

Frostbite, panting: My wings are so sore...

Blizzard, landing gracefully: Maybe you don't practice flying for long periods of time.

Frostbite, rolling over: Oh, shut up.

Cryo You just trust his word like tha- oh right. Fine, you're good, but you make any wrong moves and I'll cut your throat like your kind did to my father (spat out angrily). *turns to stargazer* alright, what do we do then? I'm up for going after her to make sure she's alright, but you it's been a long day, and I haven't eaten anything since I got caught in the storm while flying, which was at least a day ago. Up to you, Nightwing.

Stargazer: Uh...

Nightmare: She's probably back to the palace by now, & how would you get it? I know for a fact IceWings can't breathe underwater. I suggest hunting for something to eat first, then resting for a few minutes before going to the palace. Especially since Axolotl swims really fast, so catching up with her is probably not the best option.

Stargazer: Yeah, we can hunt for some fish or something. Wait, did you say "cut his throat"?

Nightmare: Doesn't matter. *He dives into the water & comes back up moments later holding a seal in his talons.* My scales are very strong, so cutting them wouldn't be an easy task.

Frostbite's POV

*Frostbite was starting to get tired of waiting for Stargazer. He's tapping his tail on the ground impatiently.*

Frostbite: What is taking her so long?! Three moons, it's been at least an hour!

Cryo It doesn't matter, I'll find a way, *turns to stargazer* yes, I said that, now you know why I hate your kind, you're the only nightwing I have met who isn't a lying thieving murderous jerk. I trust you because you confided in me, this nightwing however, has killed before. I can tell by the way he moves, talks, and carries himself. He was likely an assassin in the war of succession, but thats what I think.
I'll catch my own food, thank you. *flies away and comes back 3 minutes later with a shark*

*Nightmare narrowed his eyes at the IceWing. Did Stargazer really trust Cryo enough to tell him that she's a mindreader, but when he himself told Cryo he can read minds, he doesn't trust him?*

Nightmare: I was an assassin.

*Stargazer turns to Nightmare with an expression of confusion.*

Nightmare: I was an assassin. ...But it wasn't my choice. *He looks like he feels guilty about something.* The marks on my wrists & ankles are from shackles, enchanted to make me be emotionally unsympathetic, able to kill anything and anyone without feeling guilty or remorseful. It was awful. I had no say in whether or not I wanted to kill anybody, & for a while, I didn't care about that. ...I couldn't care, because of those stupid shackles.

Stargazer, tilting her head: ...You never said that that was what the shackles were enchanted to do.

Nightmare: I didn't want to make you nervous. You're one of the few dragons from my own tribe that wasn't terrified of me. I'm glad this IceWing likes you, but I can understand why he doesn't like me.

Axolotl's POV

*Axolotl was in her room reading the scroll she grabbed from the library. She especially found the section on Fathom to be interesting.*

A SeaWing, startling Axolotl: Hiya!

Axolotl, falling off of her bed in surprise: Gah!! Why would you do that?!

*The SeaWing dragonet is light purple, with light blue webbing and wings & darker purple scales on her neck. She's bouncing around in place like a happy seal. She only looks like she's a few moons old.*

The Dragonet: Watcha readin'?

Axolotl, regaining her composure: ...Stuff. Dolphin, how many times have I told you not to sneak up on me like that?

Dolphin: I dunno, I lost counts of it. Ooooh, that looks cool! *Dolphin grabs the scroll from Axolotl's hands for a moment, but Axolotl grabs it back before she can get a good look at it.* Hey! I was gonna read that!

Axolotl: Dolphin, you can't even read yet.

Dolphin, folding back her wings: Oh yeah.

Frostbite's POV

Frostbite: Blizzard, how long until Star gets here?

Blizzard, curling up on the floor: Why are you asking me? I don't know where she is.

Frostbite, spotting something: Hey, is that her?

Blizzard, looking up: Hm? No, that's a SkyWing.

Name: Corvid

Age: 7 Years

Dragon Tribe: SkyWing/NightWing

Animus?: No

Appearance: Corvid has most of the traits of a SkyWing, but he also has the silver teardrop scales of a NightWing, as well as silver scales under his wings. He's a very dark shade of blue and his eyes are pale orange.

Personality: Corvid tends to avoid actively talking to unfamiliar dragons, preferring to watch them from afar for a while.

Backstory:

Any interesting facts: He loves birds, especially crows & other corvids (Blue jays, ravens, rooks, etc.) and even has a few crows that were enchanted by a friend of his to act as a communication system

Corvid's POV

SkyWing: Why are you on Ruby's territory? *He lands on the rock ledge in front of the pair of IceWings, & Frostbite, startled by their sudden appearance, tries to shoot frostbreath at the IceWing & misses. He flares his wings defensively at them & snorts a small cloud of ice crystals, keeping his focus mainly on the SkyWing. Blizzard steps forward with his tail flicking side-to-side and narrows his eyes at the unfamiliar IceWing.*

Blizzard, pointing at the IceWing: Who are you? I don't recognize you from anywhere in the Ice Kingdom. *He turns to the SkyWing and folds back his wings a little.* I understand you being here, but what is a SkyWing doing traveling with an IceWing?

SkyWing, stretching his wings: Corvid.

Blizzard, looking a bit confused: …What does that mean?

Corvid: That's my name, idiot.

*Blizzard scrunches his nose a bit at the rude comment, & Frostbite relaxes his wings but keeps his frostbreath ready.*

Frostbite, to the other IceWing: Why can't I remember where I've seen you before?

Frostbite: I'm glad I didn't hit the IceWing a few moments ago. For all I know, we could be related. He's young, maybe not that much older than Iceberg. But seriously, why have I never seen him before?

Axolotl's POV

Dolphin: I wish I could read, but mommy says I gots to go to school for more longer in order to learn how.

Axolotl: Exactly, so would you please let me do my reading in peace?

Dolphin: Oh. Yeah, I'll go. Bye!

*They wave to each other before Dolphin walks away, & Axolotl waits a few moments before setting the scroll down and swimming back outside, to go find something to eat.*

*Axolotl sees a rainwing flying by herself, and she looks extremely upset. She turns to the ground and lands there. Her sobs are like rain drops pitter pattering on the windowsile.

Cryo The reason I dont like you, nightwing, is because your kind ended my father without a blink of remorse, you ended our animus line and created a demon using my father. This nightwing is completely incapable of hate, I see that, that is why I trust her, you however, I cannot read, nor do I trust, if you havent noticed, neither of you can read my mind, that is because my father gave me one last item before he was killed by his own son, and it blocks mindreaders, visions will not have me in them, you cannot see me in the future, past, or present through visions. It also granted me long life, so if you want to fight, trust me, I have lifetimes of experience more than you in fighting. as Cryo gets angrier and starts shaking, so does the ground around him, pieces of stone start floating around him in a mini tornado I refuse to let another dragon die to one of your lying thieving tribe!

Cryo I know you didn't want to, thats why I havent killed you nightwing, I- *realizing what is going on* STARGAZER DONT GET CLOSER, ITS MY CURSE, YOU'LL DIE, I CANT STOP IT!

as Cryo's panic grows, so does the amount and speed of the rocks around him, eventually starting to destroy the ground around him, Cryo flies as fast as he can to the water nearby and knocks himself out to stop the rocks from flying around him, falling into the water unconscious, the rocks fly out at high speeds, most of them going straight into the water, while a few shatter stones around the shore

Stargazer: Eep!

*Stargazer tries to dodge some of the flying rocks, occasionally getting nailed with one. Nightmare sees Cryo fall into the water & panics. He hesitates for a quick moment, but he takes a deep breath and dives into the water, grabbing the unconscious IceWing & bringing him to the surface before flapping over to the shoreline and setting him in the sand.*

Axolotl's POV

*Axolotl opens her mouth to say something to the RainWing, but she hears an explosion in the distance and tenses up in surprise.*

Cryo stays unconscious, in his dream, he remembers more about his past that his father hid from him with a spell. He sees himself growing up with his brother, but he cant see his brother clearly, his father dying in front of him, and his escape from the nightwing that killed him
