*Stargazer isn't sure if she should reveal that she's a mind reader to him or not, but on the other talon, it could be better than if he found out himself somehow. Frostbite & Blizzard are exchanging concerned glances & Blizzard is looking into the water, trying to think where that SeaWing could have gone.*

Stargazer: Maybe she was having a... moment.

Cryo well lets hope that's all it is, I actually kind of liked her a bit, she's outspoken and kind, rare traits in dragons these days.

Autumn's POV

*Autumn was flying around the Sky Kingdom, taking in all the flora & fauna she hadn't usually seen back on Pantala. She noticed a rather dark one that seemed to be... staring at her. She shrugged it off though, & landed in a small clearing surrounded by trees.*

Autumn: I wonder if that creepy IceWing's still back with the others. I hope they don't think I'm deserting them or something...

*Autumn fiddles with her bracelet a bit and curls up by a small bush. She's hoping a nap will make her feel less guilty about leaving the others by themselves.*

Axolotl's POV

*Axolotl is frantically swimming through a current, trying to find the palace as fast as possible, but the sun is starting to set, which is making it harder for her to see where she's going. Keen night-vision was never one of her strong suits. She bumps into a rock & cuts her arm on it by accident. She panics & quickly surfaces on a small island a few feet ahead of her to give herself a break from swimming.*

Axolotl, holding her arm: I need to find the palace as soon as possible maybe Stingray would have some advice on how I can make better precautions to control my animus power I mean now that I really think about it I could kill anyone in just about any way under the moons if I lost control of my power I don't want to end up like Albatross and try to kill my entire family because that would be very bad and awful and then everyone would hate me

*She's having a bit of a panic attack. Poor little SeaWing.*

Stargazer's POV

Stargazer: Hm... I have a little base in the Sky Kingdom with a few beds! *Stargazer puts her fingers up to her mouth and whistles loudly, and after about 30 seconds, the rug that she enchanted (in some of the first posts) flies over and lands down on the ground in front of her. She motions at it.*

Stargazer: After you.

Blizzard, glaring at the rug: I'd rather fly. I'm not getting on that thing.

*Blizzard stretches & opens his wings, waiting for Frostbite to take off so that he can follow him to wherever the base is. He's not getting on something enchanted by a NightWing animus.*

Frostbite: I'm with him. I'll fly there myself. *Frostbite quickly takes off and starts heading towards Stargazer's base as Blizzard follows behind him, looking like he's frustrated about something.*

Axolotl's POV

Axolotl, still having a panic attack: I'M GOING TO END UP JUST LIKE ALBATROSS AND EVERYONE'S GONNA HATE ME AND REMEMBER ME AS A MURDERER AND A PSYCHOPATH AND EEL WILL WISH HE WASN'T MY BROTHER AND THEN-

???: Stop.

Axolotl: *She gasps in surprise. She thought she was alone on this island. Clearly, she's not.*

Cryo which direction is it? *quickly snaps his head to the west* I sense a new presence by the seawing, should we make sure she is safe? Blizzard and Frostbite already left, so we're the only 2 left here.

Stargazer's POV

*Stargazer notices that she and Cryo are indeed alone on the cliff. She's thinking hard about something. She turns to Cryo with a look of uncertainty.*

Stargazer: Uh, I have s-something to tell you. *She gets a more determined expression. She folds her wings back & takes a deep breath.* I'm an animus. ...A-and I hatched under 3 full moons. ...I don't think I know anyone else who hatched under 3. S-so I can see the future... and read minds. I-I can't help it, but I uh, didn't want to say it in earshot of the others. Frostbite already doesn't trust me that much, and I think I know why Axolotl was nervous as well.

Stargazer: There. I did it. I told someone I'm a mindreader, and I don't regret it. He doesn't trust me much, so I can try to earn his trust by at least not keeping too many secrets from him. *She gets a nervous expression on her face again.* But what if he takes it as a reason to trust me even less? I hope he doesn't think I'm a bad dragon because of my powers.

Stargazer, pointing in the direction Frostbite flew off: ...The, uh, base is that way, but this rug is enchanted to get us there without having to fly a little while. You don't have to get on it if you don't want to, but it would save us some time and energy.

Cryo so the legends are true then... you get your powers from being born under the full moon... thank you for being honest with me, nightwing, I'm going to go after the seawing though, there's another presence near her, and I dont know who they are.

*Stargazer flaps up into the air and heads towards where she thinks the SeaWing is. She flies slowly enough for Cryo not to get too far behind her.*

Frostbite's POV

Frostbite: I do not regret deserting Star. That IceWing was right. She's just a NightWing, which means she can't be trusted. Besides, I feel like she's hiding something from me, even if it's not that bad of a secret. Blizzard's still following me. I wonder if he knows what she's hiding. At least he doesn't know that I'm an animus. I'll tell all of them when the time is right. But not yet...

Axolotl's POV

Axolotl, stepping back in surprise: W-who are you?!

*It's another NightWing. He's enormous , at least 3 times Stargazer's size. His eyes are blood-red & his wing membrane has multiple small tears in it, but his expression is surprisingly friendly.*

???: You need to calm down.

*Axolotl backs up in panic & nearly falls into the water, whimpering & trying to get away from the big scary NightWing. He steps forward & carefully puts his talon on her shoulder, with a firm but surprisingly gentle grip.*

???: Shhhh...

*Axolotl winces a bit, as if expecting him to rip her arm off, but he doesn't do anything. He just stares into her eyes for a bit. She realizes this new dragon has no intention of hurting her, & her panting slows to a stop.*

Axolotl: Who are you?

Cryo I won't, but I'm not sure what's wrong with Axolotl? you said her name was? After I mentioned my curse she seemed scared of herself, and I'm unsure why that would be... anyways, we're getting close. Let's go. *flies at extraordinary speeds for an Icewing*

Stargazer: *She has to flap even faster to keep up with him. Her wings are practically invisible against the starry night sky.* I think she's an animus like me. She was having some kind of panic attack or something. Her thoughts had a barrier of some sort, like crashing waves in a storm. I wonder if she meant to do that or if she did it instinctively. She shouldn't be too much further from here. Please don't tell her I know she's an animus. I'll tell her that I can read minds a bit after we find her, okay?

Autumn's POV

*She's still asleep, but there's a dragon watching her from the trees. They don't seem to be hostile, though.*

Dragon Tribe: NightWing

Powers?: Mindreading

Appearance: Nightmare is a huge NightWing with pitch-black scales, blood-red eyes, & multiple small tears in the membrane of his wings. He has silver teardrop scales like Stargazer, but his are more noticable, & his teeth and claws are slightly red, as if bloodstained. He has a torn left ear & there are marks on his wrists & ankles that are reminiscent of the imprint of shackles.

Personality: Despite his unnerving appearance & menacing aura, Nightmare is surprisingly friendly to most dragons, often trying to help them whenever possible.

???: My name is Nightmare.

Axolotl: Nightmare?? Well, his name fits his face. He's terrifying & huge & creepy! But he's not hurting me...

Nightmare: Yes, it's not surprising that I have the name that I do, as most dragons think I'm some kind of monster or something because of my size.

Axolotl, surprised: H-how did-?

Nightmare: -I know what you were thinking? I'm a mindreader. There's someone getting closer, I can feel it. One presence feels familiar, but the other... Is very strange. I'll go tell them you're alright. Go back to the palace.

Axolotl: B-but-

*Nightmare unfurls his huge wings & flaps into the sky, generating a strong enough wind to push Axolotl back into the water. She quickly remembers where she's going and starts heading towards the Deep Palace again. Nightmare flies unnaturally fast, so he should probably find the other dragons in no time.*

Nightmare's POV

*Nightmare eventually finds two dragons headed towards where Axolotl was a moment ago; A familiar NightWing dragonet, & an IceWing he'd never seen before. They're all flying so fast that Nightmare has to practically do a loop-de-loop in order to stop himself from slamming into them, which is especially hard because of his gigantic wings & all the wind they generate with each flap.*

Nightmare, frantically trying to avoid them: I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to- ...Stargazer!

Stargazer, flapping over to him: Nightmare! *She gives Nightmare a hug & he pats her head with his talon. Then he turns to face Cryo.*

Nightmare: And who might you be? I don't remember Star having an IceWing friend your size.
