The sun rises over Inkopolis, but something seemed to have happened… There are multiple cables everywhere, there seemed to be multiple in Piranha Pit. Sparks flew in the water.

Meanwhile…
WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! POWER FAILURE INBOUND! STOPPING CRYOCHAMBERS! Alarms were blasting all around the a deteriorating Bunker, Only 3 of the 24 Cryochambers opened, The three humans were released from their frozen state. James, was the first up he turned to the other two “What? Is it time to get up?”

Looking out of her window, Nautilus seemed to be half confused, half amazed at what was outside. Maybe there was an outage while she was asleep and it required that many cables to fix it? having just woken up she stretched as she got out of bed and got ready for a day full of turf wars, hopefully without stepping on a single cable.

Connie on the other hand was unaware of the cable situation until she left her apartment to pick up breakfast at a nearby cafe, when she was about to step on one of the cables. "maybe someone was doing zome maintenance-" she started, before realizing just what was happening "Ooooh dear."

Nautilus, despite being a chatty person took mornings relaxed. As she turned the tv on she hoped for any news on the mysterious cables. She wanted to know just why there were so many out there in Inkopolis.

Connie still stood outside confused but decided to immediately check the news for any articles about some weird cables outside

A Broadcast suddenly was sent out it was Pearl and Marina, they said their usual intro

Pearl: Even with these unusual cables everywhere the Splatfest will continue, though we will have to clean up around Piranha Pit.
Marina: Volunteers would be appreciated, Now Pearl why do you think this happened?

James looked at Admin “He is quite asleep… Well first order is to scavenge for the Duffel Bags, hopefully the Journals are still intact! They’re key to survival!” James began searching through lockers, he eventually found a Emergency Raft

Nautilus watched the news surprised. "Guess I know what I'm doing today." she started, standing up and grabbing her coat and shoes. As she tied the shoelaces of the boots she glanced at her splatling that was by the door. Even if today was cleaning up it wouldn't hurt to take her splatling right?
"Alright." Nautilus said as she picked by her splatling "Time to go clean up some wires!"

Connie decided to pick up food from the cafe and eat at Piranha pit. She sent a text to Nautilus "I'm at Piranha pit clean up. Wires aren't gonna clean up by thenselves."

There were a metric ton of cables everywhere, a large tail was flopping in a huge tangle of cables. It seems to be a Great Zapfish though different from the one at Inkopolis

Nautilus, alongside other Inklings and octolings stared at the mess that was known as cables and that mysterious Zapfish thing. She wasn't the only one who brought a weapon by the looks of it, maybe some of them were wanting to clean up, then do turf war battles.

"Come on, let's clean this thing up." One Octoling with an Afro and a ranged deco blaster said as he started picking up a wire. "the splatfest isn't gonna happen if this place isn't clean!"

Meanwhile with Team Humans “I wonder if dad’s theory of mutated Pokémon descendants holds up true.” He said while searching for any of his family’s journals. Eventually he came across one, it had a Pokèball Symbol “The Dex Journal! We can use this to write down what new Pokémon we find! if we’re lucky to find any… Maybe it’s a good way to just remind ourselves of what our world use to be… I'll keep looking…”

In his room, an inkling with a salmon like pink color would be getting ready. Having his cut like crop top and his black ripped jeans, whist some gold bands and a gold like medal around his neck. He had boots with these gold like zippers.
During this time he noticed how the lights had sudden went out in his room, confused he sighed rubbing his neck before putting on his sunglasses and grabbing his weapon. Seems like he was in a mood to do some morning games, carrying the large carbon roller over his shoulder he grabbed his splatphone and made his way out the house locking the door right behind him.

Heading to the square he heard the news, sighing a little but he thought why not help. Heading into the lobby he went towards the Piranha Pit. Looking around he raised a brow before sighing. Someone like him was seen as an splat idol, but it was unsure since he mostly stays away from those who'd ask. After all, he's not from these parts (hi he's from splat 3) so he didn't know how those will react to a different idol. But seeing the group of those helping he fixed his gloves walking over with his roller waving with his free head

"Need some help!"

He said aloud in a question like matter.

Nautilus was picking up wires around the "Zapfish that looks like Electross." while most of the other inklings and octolings were spread out, away from the Electross Zapfish. "where did you come from?" Nautilus even asked it at one point, not even expecting an answer at all. Afterall the last time Nautilus checked, fish don't talk. However the sudden cry from the Electross caused her to move a few steps away. "Geez, you want personal space. I was just trying to help-"

Connie arrived at Piranha pit all while eating a muffin. She spotted a few familiar Inklings and Octolings from turf wars, all cleaning up wires and trying to figure out where to put them.

The Electross spat out multiple things, Some trash stuff that belong to what appeared to be some bunker there was wall fragments, desks, chairs, other stuff, but most importantly a Journal it had a Heart Symbol. This journal was the planning Journal for Project: Revival

James kept searching, eventually he opened the door that would lead to the office connecting District A to B. The moment he opened it Water flooded onto him. He quickly closed the air tight door

Denise and Mercedes had just arrived at piranha pit to see if they could help with the wires Mercedes bent down and said "hey yall need help?" she started to analyze the situation. "Maybe this goes here.. how about.. no that won't work. This is hard to hard for me at least."

Nautilus picked up the journal after somehow dodging all the things the Electross spat out. She opened the pages and started reading, interested. It was the only interesting thing the Electross spat out. everything else was boring but the journal was interesting.

"We're supposed to be cleaning Nautilus!" Connie ran over to her friend, noticing the trash that was around her. "Never mind, I don't want to know where that thing came from."
