Is the random clicklist completely random from all Pokemon on the site, or does it prioritize more recent Pokemon? Some of the Pokemon I see are years old so it seems like a waste if the owner has not been on in a while.

I would believe it's completely random, yes. The random clicklist prioritizing newer pokemon seems a bit redundant since the "Newest Adoptions" clicklist exists as well. So you might wanna use that if you wanna focus your interactions on more recent pokemon.
