Floyd peered at it and murmured something to himself. He turned it
over. Looked at it again. Then he placed it down. "Okay, by looking
at this map, I have concluded one thing. I am hopeless with them."
He thrust it to Zuzu. "Here, you try."

"Okay, if we're here, then the nearest town would be here. About a
2 hour hike for most people, 3-second walk for me, and a good place
to stay a night and get directions. If we want to make it by
nightfall, we've got 10 minutes to prepare and pack. Let's use it
wisely."
I nodded and ran to the storage room I had seen on the blueprints,
grabbed as many bags as I knew I could carry, and packed up on the
necessities. "Alright, i've got 2 bags for personal or unnecessary
items." I knew instantly that my first 2 stops would be the
technology development place and the snack bar. Thank goodness I
had a weird obsession with my dad's mini robots. I may not have
had an education, but I saw my dad tinkering with devices enough to
have a weirdly advanced understanding of technology. "Oreos? Nah.
Dum Dums? I'll take the Banana Split ones and leave the rest.
Warhead stash? Now we're talking." Next thing I new, I had an
entire backpack full of sour Warheads products. I checked the
clock. 5 Minutes. Am I missing anything? Oh crap, tools! You
can't make technology without the proper tools.
Having gotten everything I needed, I went to the intercom and told
everyone where to find the storage room, kitchen, and snack bar,
aswell as where they can find more backpacks than the closet of a
high-schooler with hoarding problems.
"Aye aye, captain!" Floyd called, giving a mock-salute. "On it!"
Then he remembered his sense of direction was about as strong as
his map skills. "Crap."

"Yayyyy," he said unenthusiastically. He looked around, and spotted
one. He walked up to it and peered at it. "I'm not good at maps,"
he reminded them.

"Oh shush. My brother handled this kind of crap for me. So we're on
the same handicap." He studied it for a long moment. "Uhh... so
what do the symbols at the bottom mean?"
