Floyd frowned, but accepted the offering, letting the hotdog roast
over the flames. "You know," he remarked. "You seem... pretty
caring about all of us. Even though we all just met, you're trying
to watch over and care for us." He glanced at them, sideways. "Why
is that?"
Then he gave a yelp. "Ouch! Burn! Burn!" He yanked his hand back,
dropping the hot dog. He began to flap it back and forth through
the air. "IT SEARSSS!"

"It's not fair," he complained, popping his scorched fingers out of
his mouth. "How are you so good at everything-?" He mournfully eyed
his tortured fingers. "I always end up hurt when I try to match
you."

"I know I do it a lot... But... I was just wondering. What we're
going to do. All of us. We all want to do different things. Some of
us want revenge. Some of us just want to return home. Some of us
can't do either." Floyd sighed. "But I feel... like there's
some kind of story here. There's some reason we're together."
He gave a rueful chuckle. "I don't believe in fate or karma or any
of that junk. But..." he hesitated. "I feel like we have to do
something. Before we split ways. What Zhao's done... we're the only
ones who can stop him, right?"
Floyd shook his head. "Sorry, I'm probably not making any sense..."

"I get it. It's confusing, scary. We thought that this village was
only destroyed because of it's proximity, but what if that isn't
the only reason? What if he's doing this kind of thing everywhere?"
Floyd lowered his head. He stared into the fire for a while.
Finally, he lifted it. There was a spark in his eyes. "If," he said
quietly. "He is... I could never forgive him. Attacking these
people... that was bad enough. But for no reason... That's not a
man anymore. That's a beast."
The spark had become a fire. He turned to Zuzu. "If he has... then
we have to destroy him."

"Huh?!" He jerked his hands backwards, extinguishing the tongues of
fire that'd climbed up them and were beginning to crawl up his
shoulders. He studied them. The burns from before had healed.
"Did...?" He glanced at them. "Did you do that-?"
