Could Toshiko's smile get any bigger? The witchling settled back, leaning against the nearest desk. "Don't you have human ancestry? Those two don't go very well together, you know."

"Death... wraps me in its embrace..." Poe gave his last dying gasp.

"Oh, stop whining." Toshiko nudged him to the side with her foot. He resembled a dead fish. "You'll be fine." As her shoe rustled his hair, then the rest of his ear was revealed... non-pointy. She turned back to Azura with a smile. "Nice to meet you in any case. Though I'd prefer it under certain circumstances."

A strange giggle.

"Oooh!" Toshiko looked fascinated. "That makes sense- Too bad you're not fuller, though." She pouted, slightly. "We did see a human just a minute ago. He accidentally got transported here. He wasn't very friendly."

Poe pushed himself off the ground. "Uhm-" he started. "I've got some small human ancestry too! MaeMae #2-" He chuckled as he stared at her. "Hehhehe. Ehehehhehe... Yes."

"That's enough of that." Toshiko stepped between the two of them. "Everyone! Introduce yourselves! Except Poe, because you're creepy."

While Poe pouted and muttered something about murdering witchlings, a small fairy fluttered up onto the table.

"Myran," they drawled. "First Fairy to attend Hexside." A narrowing of their eyes as if they expected some sort of challenge.

"Yep! Next!" Toshiko whipped to a pink-haired girl.

Toshiko considered stabbing him, but changed her mind for "MaeMae"'s sake.

While Poe sputtered, Toshiko gave a half-hearted shrug. "Naw, he's not talking 'bout you. He's talking about pinky-" she jutted her thumb in the direction of the pink-haired girl. "Over there. She's May. He's delusional enough to think she knows his name."

Poe looked like he might start crying. "M-MaeMae?"

She gave a terrified yip, pulling back her hand and wiping it off on her uniform.. "Come on, lighten up. The teachers'll shred us to bits the second we leave here. We can at least pretend to be cool rebellious 'side students."
