Condolence strolled down the packed streets of the scorpion den, avoiding tails and dodging flames, keeping her perfect scales away from harm as she marched to the meeting point “Today is extra crowded… i wonder who announced theyd burn any traitors today” she murmured, hopping over a half eaten elk and skidding to a stop outside the hut, before walking in to the meeting

Northstar peeked at the two from where she hid in the shadows, slowly becoming visible again. The earring she wore is what gave her this gift. She had found it one day seemingly abandoned in the sands, at first not knowing it was animus-touched. Now, it is one of her most prised possessions, helping her navigate the busy roads without being noticed by anyone, especially not any guards she might accidentally bump into. She'd worry about IceWings as well, but it was rather rare for them to fly all the way down to the desert considering the heat, unless they'd been exiled and needed a place to stay.

Sidewinder had made it to the meeting point as he stuffed a jewel into his satchel, his tail curled as to not sting anyone by accident. His mother was a thief and so was he, so he steals just to get around in life. He mostly steals for food, and any shinies he grabbed would typically be used for bartering. As he put the jewel away, he'd pull out a jerboa he had killed earlier and quickly ate it. Not the most filling meal, he thought, but good for a quick snack when you need one.
