How do you get maps and how do they work?

Maps come from mystery boxes, opened with a key of the matching color. Maps allow your Pokemon to go on a special rumble mission, where they will fight a legendary pokemon. If they win, they will come back with a summon item, which can be used to redeem an egg at the ancient cave. If they loose, they return the map and you can try again

I'd suggest sending a high level, fully evolved pokemon with a type advantage where possible, and avoid weaknesses.
