I don't think that there's any true consensus on what the best main
series Pokemon games are, but for me personally Pokemon's peak was
during generations 4 and 5. Though speaking of gen 5, Black/White
and their sequels, Black2/White2 are more often than not considered
to be the best story in Pokemon, relatively speaking.
You can cut down on the number of games to look at by ignoring
Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, Ruby/Sapphire, and Diamond/Pearl. Would've
also said Sun/Moon but you already got that so too late. Those ones
all have another version that's basically a slight improvement
(Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum) and so aren't really worth
considering, especially when three of those also have remakes (Fire
Red/Leaf Green, Heartgold/Soulsilver, Omega Ruby/Alpha
Sapphire). Link

I used to (and still sometimes do) play PokePark Wii: Pikachu's
Adventure. The game is so fun yet theres so little content of it
online, to the point that i kinda feel like im one of the only
people left to even play it.
I have played many pokemon games. My first was Leaf Green. However,
when I got the game I was 2 years old so I couldn't read what was
going on. Then I lost it then moved homes.
Platinum was my second game, but my first pokemon game I ever
completed. Then there was Blue, Sapphire, White, Y, Alpha Sapphire,
Sun, Ultra Sun, and Shield. That's of the mainline games I have
played. I kind of liked Pokken Tournament when it first came
out.
I tried to play Shuffle and Quest but they weren't really that fun
to me.
I'm really excited for Brilliant Diamond and Legends of Arceus.
