Have You Ever Experienced Something Paranormal?
Forum-Index → General Discussion → Have You Ever Experienced Something Paranormal? One Friday morning, I was lying down in my bed, half-asleep. I did not want to wake up, so I was staring at my wall for no reason whatsoever. Suddenly, some force rammed the other side of my bed, akin to an ATV driving into my bed at 15 miles per hour (this left a dent in my wall). I turned over in shock and found that my alarm clock was in the middle of the room, facing the window, even though it was supposed to be on a bedstand five feet away facing the closet. Keep in mind, my two old cats were downstairs with my sister, and my parents were asleep. So what was it? I have no clue!
That is my story... for now :) New experiences will be reported whenever I get them. You can post too!
Couple of nights ago, I was lying down in bed reading Feet of Clay by Terry Pratchett (check him out if you can, amazing books! Warning: there is some language and mature jokes). All of a sudden, I feel as if a hand is tickling my feet. Which would have been impossible, as my feet were tucked in a corner (no, it was not my sister, she was asleep). I disregarded it at first, thinking it was just some sensory overload, but I gave up that idea when my socks started being pulled off my feet! Paralyzed with confusion and mild fear, all I could do was sit there and hope that nothing would go wrong.
At the end of that, my socks were on the floor, my feet were cold, and my nerves were all over the place. Welp.
Any thoughts? :>
In truth, I know that "magic" has ran deep in my family for a very long time, and that it is a predominantly female trait-- everyone may be affected by it, but the curse aspect usually hits females the hardest-- and we all look the same spanning back several generations-- color-changing eyes, and red-tinted hair. There are many things strange about our curse(s) that I don't understand, but I do know that my first name means God, and that my entire name is an anagram for the concept of Time.
When I was younger, I was able to interact with beings that could be considered paranormal. One became my obsession, two of the others led me into a wall chasing after them. I've also been stalked and harmed by such creatures. An infant crying in the night somewhere in my room, my hands and arms stabbed by a creature chained to the wall that could cause me actual physical harm, it is true that I sound really unbelievable.
Nowadays my encounters are less frequent, but I find that I have lucid dreams nearly every night, and believe that I may be experiencing something strange in that it feels as if I have been able to change the future in small ways using whatever strange foresight it is that has started manefesting at this time. It's "deja vu" in a sense, but when I was younger I had something similar, but not quite. it was like completely losing my sense of who I was, and my ability to interpret my own existence. In those times I would be removed from my specific circumstances, it felt really strange. Almost like leaving this life in a way.
I find I am still extremely average, if not less than. I've put it many different ways, but it feels like I'm walking the same amount of time as everyone else, but instead of a straight path it's a labyrinth, so I cover a different distance than others. Now I am a being that has little to no usage other than simply existing and experiencing, and I doubt I will find out anything related to what's happening to me any time soon. I'm living one extraordinary ordinary life, thus why I have been allowed so much time for someone so relatively young.
Still though, I'm just an ordinary person stuck in their own biology and circumstance, so I'm really nothing to write home about. I'm both extremely lucky and unlucky, but that's why instead of listing them all I chalk it all up to being an eerie paradox.

Well, some of that isn't explained
well-- The curse part was sort of just compacted to make it easier
to tell-- color changing eyes doesn't apply to each of us in the
same sense, but heterochromia does-- the hair is a bit more
complicated then that as well, as most things are.
There's a lot I didn't say of course, just because there's far too much to. But still, I suppose it's an interesting thing to share.
