you find a unusual sign, saying "pokemon fan club" on a gate, so you carefully enter and sooner or enough, you find out there's a whole fan club that focuses on pokemon!

MR. SUKIZOS WORDS
mr. Sukizo: welcome to the Pokemon fanclub main hall! The pokemon fan club is a fanclub that is ALWAYS curious about if we can ever get pokemon! So every week we let a special person in the fanclub be able to get free pokemon from a random user!

you: (wonders "why on earth do they want Pokemon from other users?)

mr. Sukizo: well, there isn't any shops around this area, and we like to stay in the town this building is in. So instead we get pokemon by donation!
