meg jumped from tree to tree.she was always the last one to get caught.

the boy saw arron's foot prints and said"he you let your guard down arron"and turned around to see arron.

most of the kid were out by now waiting by the house for them to finish.

He didn’t seem very surprised or shocked, just slightly disappointed. “Why should I care, it’s just a game of tag...” he mumbled, coming to a stop from his sprint to face the boy.

He heard something from the trees and glanced it’s way. He knew he had gotten almost everyone so far, so he figured it was Meg. “Sorry, gotta go...” he grumbled, then turned to chase Meg.

Meg climbed through the trees and then stopped and turned and went the other way still jumping from branch to branch.

Once Emily and the boy for to where the others were arron had gotten everybody out except for meg.

While chasing the last remaining kid, he began to lose interest in the game. He had gotten nearly everyone out already, why should he go the extra mile to get Meg? It seemed like a waste of time and energy. But the glimpses of her running through the trees somehow kept him motivated. He chased the small glimpses for a long time until they had gone the other direction. He, of course, continued following it.

She stopped take a few breaths then jumped down a ran to the field before the time ran out.

Arron looked up at the winner before sighing and running out of the woods. He was exhausted, he just wanted to go back to bed. It had been a while since he played a game of tag, and he saw why. He just didn’t like it

all the little kids surrounded her and one said'wow nobody has ever beaten arron is a game of tag".

He was looking off into the distance, ignoring all the commotion. His breathing was slightly heavier than normal due to the running, but everything else was slow, such as his blinking. He let out a yawn and turned his head to look at the clouds above.

He hesitated before following the children inside, stopping to let them all through. He took one last glance at the blue sky above and followed them in.

mother closed the door and went into her room to knit.

meg was playing with a younger kids and had a big smile the entire time.

He decided to go to the room instead of play with the children like meg. He sat down in his bed and took out the notebook and pencil he had in there, then mindlessly wrote in it.

it grew dark and they alll ate dinner and emily had a black hat on with a black coat and held her carrot plushie and a case in her other hand and mother said"now children emily here will be going to her foster family now".

meg went over to emily and knelt down"be good ok make us proud "and hugged her.

emily said"i know i wasent the fastest or the smartest but ill try my best out there"she began to cry and say"i- i dont wanna leave them"

mother hugged her and said"it will be all right".

He stood in the back of the group, staring at Emily as she said her goodbyes. He had a displeased frown on his face, he almost looked uncomfortable. He had his arms crossed as he leaned against the wall, hiding away from everyone else.

all the kids went to bed and mother and emily left for the gate.

meg was sweeping the dining hall floor and saw that emily had left her carrot plushie behind and she said"emily why did you leave your carrot".
