Nadia couldn't take this anymore. She had to get to Colt, even with her injury. She couldn't stand the thought of being here while he was risking his neck for her! Unfourtanetly, right now, she didn't have her phone, so she couldn't call him or even acess the internet, the only place, for years of her life, that she had felt powerful, bigger than her problems. "But I know who does have a phone," she muttered under her breath as she sat up. Quickly, she staggered out of bed, her side aching from the movement. Ignoring it, she snuck out of the room, and found Cam's room. Ever so slightly, as to not wake him up, she opened the door a crack.

Cam slept like a rock, as usual. His phone, which sported a white case with the art of the Imagine Dragons album Night Visions on it, was laying on his bedside table, almost invitingly.
Nadia was a little concerned. How had he slept through all of that?! Regardless, she crept into the room, picking up Cam's phone. At first, she panicked when she saw the passcode entry bar, those were crazy hard to hack on mobile devices, but then realized that Cam's phone had a touch option. She moved across the room, kneeling next to Cam. Gently grabbing his hand, she pressed his thumb against the screen, and when she had acsess, quickly left the room, shutting the door behind her. "Sorry Colt," she muttered, "but I'm not letting you go at this alone."

Cam didn't even budge. Angel padded around after Nadia, a very canine look of moderate interest on her long face. At Nadia's words, the dog wagged her tail, as if wondering if she was talking to her.
Nadia glanced up, smiling a little at Angel, and scratching her behind the ears. "Good dog," she said, before returning to the phone. First, she opened up the tracking app, and quickly picked up a signal. "Perfecto," she muttered. "Now all that's left to do is track him, get to-" she stopped to read the small text, "Oak Apartments, I guess, and get him, Dan, and his sister out of there." She looked up from the phone, going back to her room to change, this time coming out in her boots. She then went down to the garage, her eyes spotting the key rack. Nadia did have her driver's permit, so she wouldn't be attracting too much attention, unless a policeman had the nerve to think she was younger than she really was. Taking the key that she had seen Colt use during the trip from the hospital, she walked to the car, getting inside. She sat for a moment, trying to come up with a plan.

Nadia took another breath, fumbiling with the key for a minute before managing to stick it into the ignition. She was a little nervous about driving by herself, but all of the lessons in her grandma's rickety old car should've done something, right? The garage was closed, so she left the car running and went to open it up. It occured to her that Cam might wake up, so she went into the kitchen, found Colt's note, and with a scoff, scribbled her own edit. "Cam, this is Nadia. Don't listen to a word your brother says, I'll be fine, and so will he. The only reason you should be calling the police is if I'm not back by 5." Muttering something under her breath in Spanish, she put the note back, and walked back to the car, getting in. She started up the car, slowly pulling out. She had locked the door, so Cam and the house would be fine. Plus, they had a very furry guard to boot.
