Catt went on to the next room, and then the next, and then the next, until finally she went back to Ms. Hashly. She said she had finished her rooms.
“Well, then... they couldn’t have escaped, there’s a protective barrier around the building that teleports them back to their room or the dining room... help the others.” Me. Hashly concluded, waving Catt off.

' Mochi! You were right! I should tell the others but, mayb they might say what is projecting the barrier if I stick around longer.' Kenji thought. He moved to a dark corner so he could eaves drop from a safe spot. He wrote down what he had found out on a peice of paper and stuck it into the shadows of the corner. In Mochi's room, His arm appeared from the desk holding a peice of paper. He waited for Mochi to grab it from his hand before pulling his arm back through the shadows.

Shadow grabbed the paper, moving it through the walls toward the roof so Mochi could see it. Mochi grabbed it and read it. “I thought so.” She mumbled, going back down to try transforming Shadow into a mouse so she could follow Mochi. She tried fifteen times before she got it right. She had Shadow follow her through the wall toward the roof.

Ellie finally found Rose and whispered "Meet me, Kenji and Mochi on the roof later". Then she teleported to roof, waiting for Mochi and Kenji.

Mochi transformed back into a human, then turned Shadow back into a cat on her 20th try. She looked up and saw Ellie. “Hi Ellie.” She said, with no energy whatsoever. Mochi was exhausted, and it showed on her face.

Kenji was waiting for the staff to come back to Ms.Hashly when he noticed she started to move towards his general direction. He sunk into the shadows a bit so she wouldn't come into contact with him. ' W-What's she doing?' He thought as he sunk in a little more. He was worried she might find out about him eavesdropping.

Rose was startled by the sudden teleportation of someone she hadn't met yet. Once they made their statement they disappeared once more. Confused, she paused for a moment wondering what just happened, before she made the decision to head to the roof. She didn't know what was happening but one direction was better than no direction.

Me. Hashly grabbed a book off of the shel that was above Kenji’s head and bag an to read.
“Transforming others takes a lot of my energy...” Mochi explained, as she started to feel sleepy.
The other staff members came in and told Ms. Hashly the same thing that Catt had told her. “Okay then. Leave them be” Ms. Hashly said, knowing that it was no use trying to capture Kenji since he could use the shadows to get away.

“I don’t know. I think he might be in and. Hashly’s office, because he sent me a note.” Mochi explained, looking through her bag to make sure she had everything. “Wake me up when Kenji gets here...” she added, transforming into a cat and falling asleep.

After a while of searching, Rose eventually found the roof. She found Mochi and the person who teleported beside her previously. "W-what's going on?" she asked.

" Hello. Ms.Hashly." said Kenji as he became visible. He stayed in the shadows so he could quickly get away incase she attacked him. " Who are you really? Why are we here?" He asked glaring at her. Levi went into the shadows and appeared on the roof. " What do you want with us?" Kenji asked in a rude tone. He crossed his arms.

" I mean... Why are we in this place? Why is there a teleportation barrier? WHY ARE WE TRAPPED IN THIS STUPID PLACE? " Kenji yelled. He didn't want to be trapped in this stupid place. He wanted to be able to go to school. He wanted to be able to go to the park. He didn't want to be trapped inside of this new so called "home".

" What parents? My mom is dead and my dad's a deadbeat." Kenji says, " I don't know about the other kids but, I do know most parents aren't like that. They should love their children no matter what." Kenji was furious and sad at the same time. Not for himself. For the others. If this were true, If they knew, They would be heartbroken. He couldn't let them know. He didn't want them to.
