Kenji wakes up and submerges into the shadows. He re-emerges from the shadows on the roof. Kenji likes staring at the moon. It reminds him of home. He stays up here for a while before coming down. Once he is back in his room he quietly draws every new person he saw tonight, even Rose.

Michu bowed to Rose, and warily watched the entryways, hoping Ms. Hasly wasn’t around. She transformed into a cat and led Shadow back to their room. Ms. Hashly watched, as Rise and Mochi left, careful not to use her pyrokenisis.

Once Kenji finished the drawings of everyone, He put them in envelopes with a message that said " Nice to meet you. I'm Kenji and I hope we can be friends." He snuck out and started to slide each one under the other kids doors. Once he finished doing that, he went back to his room and took a nap. Today was a long day.

Ellie was drawing until she heard footsteps and found an envelope in front of the door. She opened it, and found a drawing of herself from Kengi. She smiled.

Mochi peeked under the door when she heard approaching footsteps. She twitched her ears and lashed her tail, then stuck her paw out from under the door. She felt an envelope, and dragged it in. She opened it and looked at it. “Huh.” She said after she transformed back into herself.
Ms. Hashly was waiting in her office, and lit a candle. She sighed and went to knock on all the doors. To each person she said, “Get ready for bed, and we can sit in the main room.” She walked to the main room, waiting for everyone and stroking her raven’s back.
Mochi got ready by transforming into a cat after she exited the room, and sprinted to the main room. She layed down in a tight ball of fur next to Shadow.

Rose noticed an article of paper slide under her door. She got up and walked over to it and picked it up. It appeared to be a drawing of her, asking to be friends. She didn't remember meeting someone named Kenji. Though it seemed genuine, so she smiled at it.
A while later she got a knock on the door from Ms. Hashly requesting she get ready for bed and to come to the main room. She was mostly already ready for bed so she just picked up her cat and made her way to the main room.

Kenji woke up from his nap when he heard knocking. He got up and made his room cleaner and organized his drawing supplies. " Come on Levi. Time to go to the Main Room." Kenji said as he picked up Levi. Levi silently napped on Kenji's shoulders as Kenji walked out of his room and to the main room where Ms.Hashly was waiting.

Once everyone was there, and. Hashly looked at everyone, and started speaking. “I know this is a big change for you, but we will be keeping a tight schedule. You will start lessons first thing in the morning.” She began, her raven on her shoulder.
Mochi yawned and twitched her ears as Ms. Hashly talked. She was getting bored and was dreading the lessons. She had enough of them when she was living with her parents, and now she had more. She decided she would skip classes the next day.

Ellie teleported to the main room and took a seat, farther away from Kenji's snake. She instantly wished that she could teleport to a fortress once she saw Ms. Hashly.

Kenji put Levi into the shadows and onto his bed. After that he played on his phone, Ignoring Ms.Hashly. He kept playing Roblox games but, then played some Among us.' Ellie must be afraid of me or something,' He thought. ' That's probably the reason she sits so far away from me.'

Mochi flicked her ears as she heard a mouse scuttle near the wall. She got up, ears pricked, tail stiff. She dropped instinctively into a hunter’s crouch and started to creep up on the mouse. She leaped and caught it, holding it up to share with Shadow. She flicked her tail happily and purred, as Ms. Hashly was glaring at her.
“As I was saying, classes will start tomorrow and there will be a visitor.” She concluded, waving her hand to dismiss everyone.

Kenji sunk into the shadows underneath him and said, "Later." He came out of the shadows outside. Kenji loved looking at the moon. It was his favorite thing to do with his mom before she died. He sunk into the shadows once again. This time He emerged in his room and went to sleep.

Mochi spent the night hunting mice and rats. She shared her catches with Shadow, and went to sleep on a full stomach. The next morning, she turned into a mouse after having told Shadow not to chase mice that day, as she was going to be a mouse. She ran around inside the walls, skipping classes.
Ms. Hashly woke everyone up the next morning, and had them go to the dining room for breakfast, she noticed Mochi was missing.

That morning, Kenji decided to try out something he thought up in his dreams. A new ability he might be able to use. He tried to transform into a standing shadow. Unfortunately he failed and became more of a shadow blob.

He decided to just make his way to the dining room and realized he could go through walls in this form. On his way there he saw a mouse in the walls and decided to follow it. Kenji's been wanting to go on an adventure since the time he got here.

Mochi scurried toward the outside. She exited and sniffed the air. She ran toward the outside world and... was instantly back in her room. “What?” She mumbled, confused at what had happened.

After being dismissed Rose went back to her room. She then proceeded to have a somewhat decent sleep, nervous as to what is to come. She got up in the morning and got ready to go to lessons. Rose then picked up her cat and tried to find where she needed to go.

The shadow blob known as Kenji saw her dissapear. He look around and then started to go through the walls of each room untill he got to Mochi's. He looks at Mochi and said,

He didn't know if Mochi could understand him or not. Either way, he tried to get her attention

Mochi was startled by Kengi and turned into a wasp in response. She immediately turned human again and said, “You startled me! I don’t know if I can help. Maybe I can transform into it, but I don’t know about getting you OUT of it.” She said, walking around him, trying to assess the situation.

Kenji is about the size of a mouse in this form but something started happening to this limbless blob named Kenji. It started to shake vigorously as it grew some small arms. Kenji was in tremendous pain. Pain like he never felt before. The blob seemed to grow tiny human-like arms.
