Olya grabbed the group and spread the contents out next to the bottles before she began sorting. She soon fell into a steady rhythm of separating the herbs and placing them into their correct containers. She was fixed onto the whole ordeal as the pile steadily grew smaller.

All-
The night was quickly approaching, and about 20 minutes later, the bell tolled with a deep and loud sound. The stores would be closing, and the gates would be shutting.

The kid headed back to the stables and clambered off the horse. He was getting tired and needed to get back before he gets in trouble.

Olya yawned and firmly pushed her hands against her spine. A satisfying crk- crk- crk- was released as she cracked her back. The pile had just been finished and so she waited for further instructions.

Avari glanced up. The bell was tolling. She had managed to sell most of the deer in that twenty minutes, and had cooked up a potion of it for herself and Gerrin. Sighing, she finished the meat, then stripped off her overclothes, which were rather sweaty. Laying down on her cot, she pulled a light blanket over her body. "Gerrin!" She patted her belly, where Gerrin soon was curled in a small ring of fur. Setting her hands on his small shape, she closed her eyes, ready to sleep.

"Oh, I have a reservation for a few more days at a small inn not too far from here. I'll probably head back there unless I can use the spare room you mentioned earlier."

Serena jabbed a thumb in the direction behind her. "There's a place out back where us stable hands bunk up. Most of us don't have families or the ones that do got kicked out-well, a lot of things happen on the streets. But we make our own family, so we're okay!" She smiled, showing a gap in her teeth that looked like it had been kicked in by a horse. "But, it seems like you have a place to stay, so I'll bid ya goodnight, as the fancy folk says." Turning around, she led Misty deeper into the stable.

Olya-
Ephina nodded. "You're welcome to stay, of course!" She hesitated. "It might not give you the best reputation, but considering you're already working here, I think you don't mind." Smiling, she waved a little as she headed into the back room. "Whatever you like, just be sure to hurry if you've chosen the inn. They usually close 20 minutes after the bell."


All-
Night had fallen, and all was eerily still. But, as the early morning sunlight touched over the sky, the bell rang once more, tolling with a loud, deep sound. The city was beggening to awake, and a new day was starting.

Avari groaned, waking up as groggy as ever. Carefully, Gerrin made his way up to her face, crawling along the side of the cot. Then, as soon as he was in position, he started to lick her face. "Pfat! Gerrin! Hey! No!" Managing to keep the fox tongue at bay, Avari sat up. Wiping her face from the saliva, the Ranger stood and grabbed her now dry set of overclothes. Slipping into them, she grabbed her quiver and hung it on her belt, then tied the belt securely around her waist. Grabbing her bow from the wall, she yawned. "Another morning patrol. Not required to do this, but hey. It'll wake me up."

There weren't many people on the street, but the clatter of windows being thrown open would fill the air as people started to wake up and get ready for the new day.

There wasn't much activity, and the two loud men from last night were nowhere to be seen. It was early enough that the air was almost still and peaceful, soon to be broken by the sounds of wildlife, and people alike waking up.

Hermes was getting dressed and coming his hair. He had to leave before the mistress was up, he didn't want an ear full.

The orphanage was waking up as well, children were beginning menial tasks, the older ones with jobs were either sneaking out, or simply walking out to begin the day.

Ichon wasn't at the stables, but Serena was. She waved when she saw Hermes, sitting on a post holding a saddle, carefully cleaning it. "Hiya Hermes! Misty's in the back, but the old gal's still sleeping. There's loads to do though, if you want to help."
