Ben opened up the laptop and balanced it on his knee, furiously typing away. Then, he turned the screen around again to show a picture of a dead computer. "That's what it would look like."

Tilting his massive head, Drakv frowned a little. "It does not look very different. Would it become stuff after a few hours? Would it be decayed after a few years?" He shifted his weight a little, then asked, "What exactly is the purpose of this laptop? You said it would become useless without the battery, so it must have a use other than prey or being a weapon."

Ben nodded. "You're catching on. Think of this laptop like a book, and a place to talk, all in one. There's a million things you can do with this." Ben balanced the laptop on his knee, and typed again. He held it up once more. "This is Facebook. It's where evreyone can talk together, even if they're miles apart!"

Drakv thought for a moment. "So it's a library is a small container? What happens in the laptop breaks? Will the library erupt out of it? And it is a messenger bird's perch as well?" He seemed genuinely curious about it, but didn't seem to ever run out of questions that were the wrong ones to ask.

Ben laughed. "You're actually catching on preety fast. But no, this laptop simply shows you the library. The library never gets destroyed completley, even if I smashed this thing into tiny peices. For a caveman demon, you're preety smart."

Leaning back, Drakv frowned. "I could call each and every star in the universe by name, comprehend both how far away a star might be and how short life has been on this planet, but I still cannot understand how a library and a messenger's post can fit into something that small. Surely there's other ways of explaining it?"

Ben thought. "Well...think of it this way. This laptop is just a window. You look through it, and you can see evreything on the other side. You can also choose what you see, and how many things you see. And the electricity keeps the window open. You get that?"

Does the window completely close when the battery kills the laptop, or does it just go dark? Is there anybody in the library that looks back at you?" He had plenty of questions, sure. But they were most definitely not the right ones.

Ben was getting a little overwhelmed by the questions. "Oh, um, yeah, you can choose to close the window temporarily. But there's still electricty running. And you can interact with other people, but you can only see their face and hear their voice. People can only sometimes see you, say if you're a hacker like me, well, I guess you can call me an internet ghost, but yeah, people can sometimes look through to your side of the window. Any more questions, because you're confusing me."

Opening his maw, he clearly had a few hundred left. His teeth glimmered in the light, and a slight glow was coming from the back of his throat. As he took a breath to speak, the glow flared light a fire getting a puff of air blown on it. He was readying himself to fire off another barrage of questions that had no exact answer, it was more than obvious.

Snapping.his mouth shut, Drakv tsked. Glancing at the large manor before him, he allowed his reptilian lip to twitch. "Am I truly stuck in this forest without food? Surely there's a place nearby where there's livestock raised for food, like you spoke of earlier."
