Winnie listened to the whole exchange silently, occasionally jotting down notes in her journal. For the most part though, she remained still, a neutral expression on her freckled face. It wasn't until the girl mentioned "the dark" that she expressed something, even if it was only by her eyes widening slightly, and her fingers curling around her journal so tightly her knuckles turned white. She didn't like where this was going.

"Lovely." Winnie grumbled, her voice steady and monotone. However, the already death grip on her book getting even tighter, if at all possible, and the way the brunette bit her lip after her statement might suggest something brewing on the inside. Winnie just hoped no one there was intuitive enough to notice.
