Aliana's voice shook. "The whole world is scaring me. The pain, the pain! I feel it too." A tear slipped down her cheek. "I'm so lonely, it's driving me insane. Insane....trapped....there's only terror..." She hid her face in her hands. "I want to get out of here, I've never been in a building this long."

So they all went through it... They all had no one, they all had to suffer just like she did... They all couldn’t live a normal life, just like her... Then... Why didn’t she feel the same pain they had? They all seemed like they had suffered more than her, but... No, she couldn’t start thinking about it now. Maybe she had been driven to the point of insanity, thinking she was fine, thinking there was still something she could hold onto... Before she could respond to Aliana, another sound began. She could hear something come down the hallway behind her

Fredrick's upper lip twitched, and he glanced at his arms. There were multiple bruises and slices decorating his skin, but something was clearly wrong to Fredrick. With a shaky voice, the boy spat poisonous words at the Headmaster. "What did you do to me?" Taking a step closer, he looked back up to the Headmaster, locking his own mind colored eyes on the Headmaster's. "What did you DO!?"

Aliana looked up. "I can hear it..someone walking, someone coming. Someone is walking and not talking and walking and walking and walking." She giggled a little, removing her hands from her face and standing up tall. "Someone is here...."

“Hmm? What’s with the harsh words all of a sudden?” His grin had appeared on his face again, along with the deadly purr of his voice. “I did nothing, really. I just did what anyone else would.” He looked away from Fredrick and averted his gaze to the wall in front of them. “You won’t get answers by yelling at me, patience is key.”

“W-who’s there!” She called out, trying her best to ignore the terrifying ramblings of Aliana. She slowly turned around to face the noise but didn’t see anything. Was it still far away? Was it due to how dark it was in here? Either way, she decided it was best to stay where she was

Aliana took a step forward, eyes wide, body trembling. "Someone...coming...someone-no! Shouldn't go, shouldn't go." She took a step back, seeming to have a silent and heated debate with herself. "I want to know but I don't. I shouldn't know, no no no no no," she whispered.

Fredrick gritted his teeth, then took another step closer. "Tell me what you did to me! Why isn't my Helltouch working? Why aren't we suffering? Why aren't my arms healed? Tell me!"

So she really was insane... She shouldn’t be surprised... After hearing what Aliana said, she was reconsidering her decision. If Aliana wouldn’t go, should she? Should she at least try to see what was coming? Would that be a terrible move? Would waiting bring the same outcome? So many more questions... So little answers...

The woman had finally came within their sights, enough to where they could at least see her figure.

“So is that what you decided to call it? Interesting... I’m learning so much about you already...” The man had completely avoided the repeated question, but his expression turned from grim to... almost sad...? “Patience is key, patience will be rewarded.”

Aliana backed up, her face in pure terror. "No! Please, no no no! Figure figures, someone coming, I want to leave! The void will take me, please! No no no no," she mumbled the last part, not taking her eyes off of the approaching woman.

Fredrick took another two steps forwards, reaching his hand into a pocket. After a moment, he pulled his hand out, empty. "Where is it?" He stated into his empty hand with violence in his eyes. "What did you do with it?"

She couldn’t stand it anymore, she couldn’t stand to hear the ramblings. “Aliana! Calm down!” She yelled, loud enough to startle herself. “Nothing’s going to happen to you!” She continued. She only wanted her to understand that she didn’t have to think like that. She still kept staring at the approaching woman, her heart beating faster and faster with every step.

“Please come with me.” The voice was as empty as the woman’s expression. She was within feet of the two, enough to grab them and drag them to the gym.

“As I said, I did nothing.” His smile was back and he had straightened his posture.

“Oh, so you liked making people suffer? You embraced the loneliness and the pain it brought you? You want to hurt others? Fine then, your wish will be granted.” He sighed and closed his eyes, then snapped his fingers. The sound of the snap bounced along the walls, each bounce was more unsettling than the last. The aura each one of them had dreaded now returned. The power that gave them such a miserable life had now come back to them.

“Please, come with me. The headmaster is waiting.” The woman repeated, patiently waiting for them to follow.

“Aliana...” her voice was low now, barely above a whisper. She looked back at her and sighed, then decided to leave her behind. If she didn’t want to go, she didn’t have to...

Aliana nodded as if she could tell that Myo was making a decision. "Just keep walking...just keep walking, and eventually-" her words were cut off, and she shook her head. "No, it's back, no, no no It can't be!" She took off running. "No more pain, please! Please, no more pain!" She didn't care where she went, just as long as no one felt that pain.

For a moment, Myeo was confused by Aliana’s sudden running. Then it hit her. The pain that she was relieved of had come back, the suffering, the agony, all of it. She placed her hand on her forehead and fell to her knees. “Crap...” she muttered to herself. She couldn’t run after Aliana now, both of them could hurt each other. She couldn’t just sit here, she had to do something, right? She got up to the best of her ability and looked at the woman yet again. “Where are you going to take me...?” She asked, keeping her voice low.

The woman gave no response, she only turned and walked away.

“I would have assumed you had figured it out by now...” He ignored Annabeth’s request and put his hand back at his side. “But anyways...” he looked down the hallway where his staff had walked down to get the others. “They’ll be here in a bit...” his tone was more down than before

Fredrick seemed to be twitching, the corner of his upper lip trying to pull itself into a sneer, but seemingly failing to do so. "What happened to my Helltouch? What happened to my knife? Tell me! What happened to them?!" Fredrick knew he could easily set himself upon this strange man even without his knife, he knew his own strength could probably kill him, but he restrained himself. Having a knife seemed to make an opponent a little less destructive to you when they're trying to fight you off.

Aliana stopped running and leaned against a wall, sliding down until she was sitting, head between her knees. "Why?" was all that she said. She didn't want that pain, no gain from pain, all that was gained was the suffering of others. She didn't want to hurt anymore.....she was so free without her curse. Now it was back to haunt her, follow her, smother her. Aliana could feel it draining the life out of her. She wasn't going to run...no, she would accept the fate the world was giving her.
