"Y-yeah...me too.." Grisell murmured. She looked around the forest, but all she saw were trees and the other children. Despite everything seeming normal, Grisell felt a burning...curiosity, stronger than she had ever felt before.

Gemini grinned. "I'm gonna go find out what it is!" She snatched up her sticks and ran off into the trees. This was so exciting? Was she going to find something super awesome? Gemini could hardly wait to start exploring.

Grisell scrambled to catch up to her. "Hey! Wait up!" She called out. A wry grin worked its way onto her face as she ran after Gemini, and she felt a sense of accomplishment for rebelling against her parents' suffocating (at least to her anyway) rules.

Gemini laughed. "Time waits for no one!" she called behind her. She looked back just as she nearly smacked face first into what looked like a huge statue. "Woah! What the heck is that?"

Lei continued following Geo, taking notes of his attitude and his actions. She could tell that he knew he was being watched, so she had to be careful. Maybe she could have a little fun... She quickly and quietly gathered a few branches and sprinkled them onto Geo, trying to get his attention, or at least get a reaction. Then she got some small rocks and placed them in his path, hoping he would trip over one of them. Sure it would raise his suspicions and most likely give her away, but she knew that and already planned for it. After all that, she continued to wait and follow. Maybe if this didn’t work out, she could play some tricks on the other children here...

Geo felt something fall gently onto his head, like a few sticks of something. He sighed and brush the small pieces off his head, not having much care about them. But the way they fell... it was most likely a coincidence, but normally they wouldn’t have fallen in the way they did... he continued walking, aimlessly moving his feet in hopes of finding at least some firewood. He barely noticed the rocks in his path before he stepped over them, a little confused about where they came from. He didn’t see them a while ago... Was this all just someone pranking him? He stopped and sighed, but didn’t raise his head to look around. “I know you’re there...” he muttered, he sounded slightly annoyed.

Grisell practically skidded to a halt, to avoid bumping into Gemini. Even then, she had to back up a little so she could see the object in full, without breaking her neck in the process.

"Looks like a statue of some kind." She determined. Grisell placed a hand on the stone, which was covered in thick moss. "But what the heck is it doing all the way out here?"

"I have no idea-it's so weird!" Gemini stumbled back a few steps. "Doesn't it...look like it's alive to you?" Gemini's breain was working overtime to figure this out.

"AGH!" Grisell collided with the forest floor with a loud "THUD". She grumbled a little in pain, her brain trying to process what had just happened.

Gemini pointed at Pele, her arm and hand slightly shaking, her eyes wide. Gemini's mouth was moving, but no words were coming out. Eventually, she managed to force out, "W-what the heck is t-that?" When Pele moved, she scrambled back a few steps. "Aah!"

A snapping twig came from behind, and seen as a shadow behind the horse was a massive wolf, his fur seemed to be stained red with blood.

Grisell stood up, still rubbing her now aching back. Gemini's squeal snapped her out of whatever trance she had been in, and she finally noticed exactly what had bumped into her. Her eyes went wide, and her mouth fell open in shock. The shock then changed to fear as the wolf came into view.

"G-Gemini, I t-think we need to go..." She whispered.

"WHAA!" Gemini yelped. She scrambled back a few steps-wait. This was a wolf. Gemini had seen wolves before. She had watched her dad kill one. Why was she showing fear? She stood tall, trying to wipe the fear off of her face. "No, it's just a wolf. I watched my dad kill one, I think I could if I had to."
