"Yay!" Rushelle was having a lot of fun. She couldn't stop smiling, this was the happiest she had been for so long, and never thought she'd be.

Rushelle waved goodbye and then watched Emerald play with the balloon. He seemed happy, so she didn't want to disturb him.

Emerald was giggling softly to himself, making the balloon wobble and bulge out in weird ways. He looked up and saw Rushelle by herself again. “Oh? Did dad have to go?”
