I'm kind of new to the game, so I was wondering how to get rarer eggs or special eggs? Also, how do I level up my player and unlock some places that say "???????????????"

This wiki page should help you out with eggs.

As for leveling up, this wiki page here should get you started. It also lists levels for unlocking things at the very bottom and I think most places are unlocked by simply leveling up. Though there's some that have different requirements, like the pokeradar page unlocking when you buy a pokeradar and premium settings only being unlocked when you have premium.
