Upon receiving the invitation to the grand opening, You arrive at the hotel. The doors are unlocked, and you can see a cloaked figure quietly conversing with the front desk. Enjoy your stay~”

Dusk walked into the hotel, her tail flicking behind her. So this was the place, huh? Supposedly there may be humans here? But they weren't allowed to kill them...she wasn't sure how she felt about that. Anyway, she walked past the front desk, wondering how this 'hotel' worked exactly

Maurice cautiously walked in. She was wearing a hoodie with the hood pulled over her face, and she tugged on one of the strings anxiously. What had she gotten herself into this time? She stopped, sighed, and walked over to a wall and leaned against it, scuffing the toe of her shoe into the carpet.

Upon them entering, the cloaked figures head immediately snapped around “.....Well Avaline. It seems we have our first visitors.” He turned and took a few steps towards them, then did a little bow of curtesy. “Welcome to the Cryptid Hotel. I am the host of this wonderful place, Call me Seriphim. But don’t be mistaken, there’s nothing angel like about me.” He grinned at the inside joke.

Dusk, being boring and not understanding the humor in the slightest. "Why should I?" She still didn't quite grasp how hotels worked, having just started spending more time in human form. Maybe being a fox for most of the 24 hour day had its disadvantages. Her ears and human nose twitched slightly, as Dusk took in every aspect of this place, studying it. She knew she would be staying in a 'hotel room', but had not the slightest idea on how to get there.

“Well......” There, for moment,, was a red glow beneath the hood, that began to trigger the flight or fight response. It faded quickly. “It would be so rude as to not address with names. But may I ask yours?” He had a sense of danger around him. It wasn’t directed at the newcomers, but it was just the aura he gave off.

"Dusk." The fox girl said simply, starting to be rather intrigued by this man. She studied the others in the room, scrutinizing them. So far she saw no humans, the only others in the rom seemed the owner and some kind of vampire. The vampire had yet to catch her interest, seeming ordinary...as ordinary as Vampires could be, anyway. The scent of blood strongly rising from them, the fact they failed to cast shadows, their shifty vibes, she knew it all. If there was a unique aura from the other creature, Dusk didn't care to seek it out, more interested in the boss of this whole strange operation. She began to lean against the wall, once again awaiting another response, and keeping one eye within sighting range of the front door.

“Well then, please allow my receptionist Aliza to get you checked in. I have to make Absolutly sure everything goes well for this grand opening.” He gave a small bow. “I’m sure we will meet later.” He turned and walked into a dark corner of the room, dissapearing into the shadows, a trait of Demons.

Maurice nodded silently and walked up to the receptionist's desk. She muttered, "What do I have to do to be checked in?" She kept her hands in her pockets and only let one leave the fabric confines of the pocket to tug on one of the frayed strings hanging from the hood.

Dusk walked behind the second 'guest' of the hotel, gazing over her shoulder at the receptionist in question. She supposed the process of being 'checked in' would allow her to get to a room, where she could relax and be by herself, which is what she wanted... Well, she'd always been a lone fox, but here she figure she could to it more comfortably. She tapped her paw/foot toes on the floor as she waited, hoping this process wouldn't take long.

Maurice noticed that there was someone else, so she moved out of the way, ducking her head away so her face was not visible. She settled again, looking at the floor and scuffing the carpet with the toe of her sneaker.

The receptionist was a human like entity. Pale skin, with Crimson hair and matching eyes. When she smiled, fangs showed. She was dressed in what was asuumed to be the uniform of the hotel, a maroon button up shirt with a silver undershirt, and a black tie. “Well hello dearies. I am Felicia. The boss sent you those Invintations personally, so all I need is your name, and i can assign you a room” She readied herself to type into the computer.
