Everest walked forward and rapped at a Pokeball. With a whoosh and a blinding red light, a small vermillion lizard was blinking huge eyes up at her.
"A Charmander, huh?" Everest smirked. "Not bad." She took out her pre-prepared Pokedex and aimed it at the Fire-type pokemon.

Everest grinned and scooped Charmander up. He gazed curiously up with wide eyes.

"You and me, Charmander, you and me," Everest whispered. "We're going to rule the world."

Charmander chirruped.

Everest bounded out of the center, eager to capture more pokemon alongside her new partner.

"I'm really hoping to find a Litwick," Everest murmured conversationally. "That, or a Rowlet. Their evolutions are extremely strong. Maybe even a Misdreavus if we're lucky. I'm not sure what pokemon live here."

As Jesse got there, he realized he was super super late. He saw a girl just take a random Pokeball and an everstone, so that's what he did as well. As he came outside, he saw a massive figure in the air. What could that be?
