Alice stopped, silently watching Angie. Then, she stared straight at Kenzie. "I've been waiting for this, for a long, long time." She chose a card, then threw it at Kenzie, just barely missing her and leaving a black smudge on her neck. "Oopsies, guess I missed!" Then, she turned to the Unkown for a signal on what to do next.

The Unknown puffed out another breath of smoke, then made it settle at its feet again. The smoke started to spike up, wrapping around itself. The blindfold on the Unknown's face glowed slightly where it's eyes would be, a slight grey glow. The smoke started to shift colors, lit from within by unknown sources. A soft voice croaked from its face, "Why... You are here, why?"

"U-um....Curiosity?" Kenzie shrugged, despite her skyrocketing heart rate. "Uh....th-there's a lot of rumors surrounding this place, and uh, I wanted t-to see if they were true?" The blonde was so nervous, even she wasn't sure about her answer.

Alice giggled once more. Her blue eyes flashed brightly against her dark grey skin. Curious, huh? Just like all the others... this one was curious. She took a step forward and leaned towards Kenzie. "Y'know, I love games. Do you like games? Yes? Good! Because we're going to play a little game I like to call, Human Girl tries to Escape the House of Grimhelm. Now doesn't that sound fun?" Suddenly, her friendly eyes became yellow, with black ooze coming from her mouth. Then, just as suddenly, they reverted back.

Angie ripped a piece of fabric off of a nearby tablecloth, shook it off and tied it around her face for a blindfold. She thought if she couldn’t see the human she wouldn’t attack the human. She walked out she knew the house by heart. “Um, human? I’m Angie. What’s your name. Sorry for attacking you earlier.” She reached out her hand.

Alice pouted. "Come on Angie, you're ruining my fun!" Then, her eyes became yellow once more and her mouth oozed black. "And we wouldn't want that, now would we?

Alice shrugged. "Angie, it's what we do. I'm an undead creature, Unkown's, well, Unkown, and you're a shapeshifter. We are the monsters of Grimhelm. They invade our territory, we scare them off."

Jax was sleeping softly, his tail curled around him. He could hear the commotion going on, but didn't really care at the moment.

Ally looked at the Mansion nervously, fidgeting with her fingers. "I-I don't think this is a good idea..." she muttered, mainly to herself.

He groaned slightly, starting to wake up. Stretching, Jax slithered his way to where the argument was happening. "What's going on here..?" he asked softly, the usual hiss in his tone.

She took a deep breath before walking over to the front door, trying to forget about something... But what was it..?

Jax nodded, lifting his head up. Since he was part snake, his tongue was also used to smell. "Yeah... I can smell a new human... A girl..."

Ally started reaching for the door, still nervous. She knew she wasn't allowed here, but she knew... she knew she had to get away from them.

Alice was ecstatic. A new human? "Oh goodie!" she laughed again, this time turning into a long maniacal laugh. When she was done, she looked at the ground for a minute, and when she looked up, her eyes had become yellow and her mouth was oozing black sludge. "Let's give them a nice welcome to the House of Grimhelm, please?"

"Leave me out of this," Jax snapped, raising his tail a bit, "I couldn't really care less about the newcomer." Huffing softly, he slithered back to where he was resting.

Ally closed the door carefully behind her and leaned against it, catching her breath. "This is why... I don't like... to run..." she panted.
