It was just after they left that Darkrai stuck his head through the
door, looking into the pitch black dungeon...soon he'd notice
everyone had yeeted outta there.
Meanwhile Spiri lifted off the ground as soon as her body left the
portal. It felt good to fly again. Mew joined her. "We're free....I
can't believe it..." After all that torture, everyone was out. That
nightmare was over...
Spiri dove and hovered near Moon. "So, tell me, Lunala. Where have
you transported us?" She didn't want to be in Ultra Space, as she
was still used to her own dimension. She had never encountered
anything like this before, it still hadn't hit her that they'd be
fugitives in their own world. She didn't think the other, corrupted
Legends might just want to recapture them...that wasn't important
just now, though
"The Alola region...is that near Rocket's base, do you think? If
so, we should probably work our way away." Despite not thinking
they'd be chased, Spiri wasn't stupid. She knew humans wouldn't
miss a chance to recapture their toys if the chance revealed
itself.
Moon looked around "last time I remember seeing Them in Alola was
when they tried using that man made island there." She pointed in
the direction of Ather Paradice.
The island in question seemed to be made partially of red
bricks...
Spiri shrugged her wings, causing her to rise in the air for a
second. "I suppose it doesn't matter. There's no way they could
foresee that escape...well...what do you plan on doing now that
your free?" She asked, not sure what else to say. "I wonder why Mew
wanted us to escape together so badly...because we're stuck in this
human form, perhaps?" That last sentence was more of a muttering to
herself. Yes, this form would take getting used to, but at least
she could still fly, and as far as she knew, she could use her
attacks as normal. Besides, most of her life was spent sleeping
while in the form of a light stone, only awakening when someone
found said stone.
"I'm sorry, what?" Spiri wasn't aware of any kids being involved.
Giovanni's plan hadn't been revealed to her on the many attempts
Rocket made to take over her mind in that lab...
"Well...since everyone's here...should we get the others' opinions?
Because I have not the slightest idea who those 'kids' may be." She
landed and flicked a wing at the other legendaries, who seemed to
be standing around awkwardly having small conversations.
That got a facepalm from the Reshiram. "Great. So what do we have
to go off of? Just look for a group of mean 'ol kids?" Last thing
Spiri wanted to do was go back to that death trap to find
information about some kids Giovanni wanted revenge on for some
reason. Not on her own. Quite honestly, she just wanted to find a
cave and bury herself
"Mewtwo." Spiri responded immediately. Of course the Pokemon
created by team rocket would know the most about its enemies,
right? Sure enough, there he was, sitting off to the side, seeming
uninterested in talking to anyone.
