“To my belief. It’s why you were about to be attacked. Same group tried to attack my lab about two weeks ago.” Drake went on “But the way to identify a Delta Species isn’t that hard. For instance, a Pokémon that’s a Delta will have problems preforming moves of its species type.”

She glanced at Shay, immediately understanding which one it had to be. "That...seems like a evolutionary disadvantage, right? If it can't use normal moves..." She was lost in thought for a second, forgetting about the fact briefly that they were being attacked by someone.

“Not entirely!” He perked up a bit, glad to be able to explain this to someone. “You see, They learn certain moves of their Delta Element as they grow and evolve. For instance, where the normal species of a Dratini would learn twister, the Delta Species will still let it learn Twister, but it will also learn Thundershock as well!”

Sadie looked at Harry, who was flying around. She decided to figure it out. "Okay, Dixie use ember! Harry use Ta-"

Before Sadie could command her last Pokemon, Harry shook his head, refusing to use Tackle. Sadie ran through his other moves (Growl and Quick attack) which he also refused.

Sadie picked up Harry gently, a bit confused "Why won't you use any of your attacks?"

Harry flew out of Sadie's hand and flew around, with Dixie trying to keep up with him.

“Interestingly enough, Your Fletchling has lost its Normal typing. I’m partially amazed. It didn’t change types, but it lost one.” He smiled a bit, before turning to the other trainer “As for you...” He held up the device, and it was flashing light pink “Yoir Growlithe is instead a Fairy type. It turned into something it was resilient against.”

Snow glanced down at Shay, excited. "Interesting. I wish I could have taken that into consideration when I named her." When Snowflake had stumbled on that growlithe, she'd never have guessed this would happen. It was really amazing

“Delta Species really are amazing. That’s why I study them. That’s why there are people who will do anything to get there hands on them. In total, I’ve recorded 76 Delta Pokémon in existence. I’m excited because three of them are in this lab.” He was like an over excited kid.
