Ok, so this might seem like a stupid question, but are mega-able ponyta able to be hatched regularly from eggs from the daycare/tall grass?

I know Mega Rapidash isn't an actual pokemon, but its from an event or something I think. Anyway, I'm trying to get some of my missing entries in my dex filled, and I saw that Mega Rapidash was one of them, so I started a hunt for it.

But I'm at 234 in my hunt now, with no mega-ables, so I was just checking if they are actually obtainable like that, or if it was only available during the event.

Yes, they should be able to!

I believe the mega to shiny ratio is supposed to be about equal but it's a bit off...
That does seem like a long stretch without one though, but in theory yes, they should hatch eventually!

Lol, it seems I am just having a bit of bad luck, no worries. My last few shiny hunts were all really quick, most under 100, so it perhaps it is my turn for a frustrating hunt, lol.

Welp, finally got my mega-able, at chain #350. So yeah, mega-able ponyta is a thing, I just had really bad luck.
