I've added several users to my friend list, the list is kinda "useless" sure, you can check what the other user think and do other things, but it doesn't change anything about gameplay, so I have a suggestion about a new feature/emera town place.
Do you remember the friend safari? The place on Pokemon XY were you can go to catch Pokemon of a type in common depending on the friend code? My idea is something similar
It would be a extension for safari zone, you'll have other people safari* were you can find especial of Pokemon from their pc** (with some exceptions***) it would be a mobile friendly minigame were you can catch one pokemon per day****, the Pokemon would have a higher shiny and mega chance*****
Now, for avoiding it to become too OP here are some limitations:
-you can only have 20 safaris but you can customize
-for adding a safari you need more than just adding people to your friend list, you will have to do some tasks like interact x number of Pokemon, gift a plushie or do a trade/battle (safari`s user)******

honestly, i wouldn’t mind this. it would give us more ways to get pokemon instead of having to trade or wait for it in the lab. i feel like my only complaint is the limit of how many pokemon you can get from it in a day. if it’s just normal pokemon, there should be no limit, but i’d say you have to discover what you can get each day, maybe?
