Raye had to manage to fight back the urge to reply with a sarcastic " 'kay." Ah, it was they type of people he hated the most. The ones who think they can run the world just because they have money. "Some...Disease." The writer exhaled through his nose and turned around. "Well, we have the front seat. If we put the groceries in the bonnet, yeah. It fits just nice." The male then turned to look at his lap and muttered a "Do we really need to save her...?"

Now, I'd say that's a task well taken care of! Uh… were you expecting something more?

Lumi hesitated, considering against her coming with them. She decided that no one should be left behind, and wish she could’ve changed her mind. She sighed “Like I said, the more the better...”

The male bit his tongue in order not to say anything to the vain woman who'd, following the driver's remark, now been making her way to the front seat of his car. She cleared her throat some as she quietly began moving the groceries aside and out of the seat so she had enough room to sit. She then turned to the backseat, analyzing the three passengers behind her.

"Hi, Lana Britton. Actress. And you are?" she asked, looking directly at the only other male in the car other than the driver. "U-Uh... Griffin." he nervously answered. "Is that like Cher or Rihanna or do you have last name?" Lana questioned. "N-No, Winters. Griffin Winters." he finished. "Okay." her eyes then turned to both of the girls before her.

“Uhh... Why do I have to keep doing this... I’m Lumi...” she looked down at the floor and clenched her hands against her knees. She didn’t like this many people in one place, especially if they paid her any attention. She preferred going to hell than go through this. But then again, she can’t go if she’s already in it. “Can we just go already...”

"Marianne Leicester. Stop staring at me with your plastic face." Marianne hissed. She didn't like to beat around the bush. If she disliked someone, she would display it. She wasn't a big fan of the show biz either, but she couldn't lie, the actress was good at her job.

Raye pursed his lips into a thin line as he drove forward. "I...don't really know where we should be headed to..." The ravenette admitted, glancing at his phone. He had it on silent due to him chasing after his deadlines and he hadn't checked them in a long time. His family, mom mostly, would bombard him with messages demanding him to take better care of himself. He hadn't any friends, just some colleagues.

(sorry it took me so long to reply i've been doing a lot irl and i work a lot lol)
Lana scoffed at the girl who'd introduced herself as Marianne and her remark towards her. "I was almost offended but then I realized that I'm not the one trying to pull off the bangs you give a third grader when they come home with lice." the actress spat.

"Enough, you two." Griffin barked. "What's the point of bickering with one another and causing problems within the five of us when there's thousands of actual problems roaming around that would enjoy devouring us?" The male sighed before cracking his knuckles after he spoke to clear his mind and return his attention to Alexander's statement. "I would say head north. We would have the best chance of encountering the fewest amount of these things in a colder setting I would assume." he theorized.

(its cool, school is starting for me soon so im gonna be busy too haha)

"Aw, look at this...Grown up adult, picking a fight with an actual seventeen year old high schooler. Is your pride bigger than your head? I guess that's the case. You don't seem to use your head, y'know?" Marianne snickered, ignoring the male next to her. Marianne is going to fight fire with fire and she couldn't care less.

"Mm...Makes sense." Raye simply hummed, trying his best to ignore the bickering ladies. The atmosphere in the noisy vehicle was enough to stress him out. He could feel that he was about to reach his limit. He kept his eyes on the road and tried to block out the noises by picturing himself in a calm, serene situation. A situation where he was in a grassy field surrounded by sheeps.

Now, I'd say that's a task well taken care of! Uh… were you expecting something more?

Lumi was fed up with the arguing and fighting. “Can you guys just keep quiet for the ride? Nobody cares if one’s ego is bigger, and nobody cares about stupid insults!” She raised her voice, something that wasn’t common for her to do. She looked at them while she said it, but immediately looked back at the floor afterwards. She hated raising her voice but she didn’t want the relationship to get worse between the two of them. It could start a grudge, which isn’t good in their situation.

(Sorry for the wording, just woke up after only a few hours of sleep)

Marianne pursed her lips and leaned on the window. "And so, the quiet one speaks." The ginger muttered to herself and closed her eyes. This was indeed a tiring day. She also left her bag in her class. She wonders what her family would think when they call her only to reach the voicemail. Now that she thought about it, no one would even miss her when she's gone.

Raye gave out a sigh of relief, one where he did not expect of it. "Y'know, I had an older brother who wished the apocalypse happened. Now that it's here, I'm not sure if he's alright." The writer gave a small chuckle as he glanced at his phone. It was on silent for a long time, he'll have ti check on it once they've reached somewhere safe.

Lana scoffed at Marianne though decided to let the argument go for now. She wasn't particularly one to not have the last word, but with the tension already on the argument itself in the car she decided it'd be best to wait until she had an opportunity to put the girl in her place. Being bitter, Lana could hold a grudge and be quite petty, something she'd plan to let Marianne find out for herself though she was sure the brat didn't care.

Griffin looked up at Lumi then at the driver as he spoke about his brother. "I have an older brother too. When my parents died he looked after me like a father would..." his voiced cracked a bit as he imagined all possible scenarios of his brother's state at the moment. "I hope he's okay..." he finished in a mutter.

"I was never close with my family." Lana stated, twirling her hair some in her finger. "My mother was too controlling, my father left my family and started a new one with his office assistant and my younger brother resents me because I'm the more talented one in the family, obvi. I just hope that they're not dead but instead being eaten piece by piece by one of these things."

Lumi stared out the window in silence, wishing she could just fall asleep then and there. All she could think about was that one kid... she couldn’t stand the thought that the kid would get hurt. Maybe you’re just being too emotional about this... She thought to herself.

Now that the atmosphere had changed, the driver silently bit his lip and drove on. Well, tried to drive on as the car came to an abrupt stop with the gas meter at zero. "No, no, why?!" Raye groaned, hitting his head on the steering wheel and stayed in that position, refusing to lift his head. They were in the middle of nowhere with the apocalypse going on, nowhere is safe.

Marianne opened her eyes when she felt the vehicle stopped moving. "Quit wallowing, we'll go on foot." The high schooler simply shrugged her shoulders, looking outside for any undeads. There were some, but not very close to them. "We've got weapons in the back, right? The ones you stole from Walmart?"

“Uh...” Lumi became a bit uncomfortable at the terms “weapons” and “steal”. She never laid a finger on anything dangerous in her life, and she certainly never stole. She decided to get out of the car and stretch.

"'We'll go on foot'? Who's 'we'?" Lana fussed, pulling her hair back into a tight ponytail as she spoke. "What are we gonna do if a hoard of these things just pop up and outnumber us? We can't fight every single one of them off. Besides, I'm wearing heels." she mentioned, dramatically raising one of her legs to reveal the rest of her thigh high boot.

"There's got to be a gas station or something up ahead somewhere, we could-- we could find one and raid it or something for food too and come back for the car with gas. If anything, I think we should try to get to some sort of shelter before nightfall." Griffin suggested in an attempt to ease Lana and Alexander's discomfort.

((sorry for the negligence, i kiiinda got busy irl and left this on read---))

Marianne had to bite her tongue to keep herself from making a snide comment. Instead, the teenager could only exhale through her nose and got out of the car. The redhead couldn't believe this woman! Seriously, 'I'm wearing heels'? She was wearing her very tight loafers, bjt fid she complain? Nope, not now, not ever.

"I don't think...." Raye mumbled, the rest all muffled by his face on the steering wheel. Well, the kid was correct. He DID steal a bunch of stuff from a supermarket, not Walmart necessarily, but, same thing. Perhaps their chance of survival was higher than he had thought.

Riptide sighed. She chucked her knife at the wall where a picture of the boy she had a crush on was. She hadn't stepped out of her house in weeks. Her family was prowling the streets like almost everyone else. She was all alone.

Lumi decided to walk around the car a bit, get some fresh air. How did she even get into this mess? How was she even dealing with these people. She was on the verge of breaking and she didn’t like it. Why couldn’t she go back to the school and deal with smaller children? At least they were a bit more controllable.

((lmao ur good i've been busy and all too))
Griffin, following mostly everyone else's lead, exited the vehicle as well. He turned to Alexander as he started speaking only to cut himself off, seemingly mentally finishing his sentence. "Are we just going up the road?" he asked the group, stretching out his legs in the process after being confined in the car for so long.

Lana yawned, watching the group leave the car and stay mostly huddled around it. Suddenly, the thought of her alone and being ambushed by the undead flooded her mind; prompting to exit the car herself, she sighed. "If my feet get sore, one of you has to carry me." she demanded, pulling her arm behind her head to stretch it.

"I walked, and walked, and walked. Nowhere seemed to be safe. Perhaps now seemed like the appropriate decision to betray everyone." Raye had mumbled, slowly lifting his head from the wheel, reciting a quote from one of his books. "Haha, who am I kidding. That's dumb." The brunette added, getting himself out of the vehicle and going to the bonnet. There's his aluminium bat if he wanted to fend himself off from zombies.

"O wise lady, might I be your knight in shining armour?" Marianne quipped, bowing her body to the actress as an extra measure. Fine! If she's gonna be stuck with someone who has problems, why not make this worth her time?

Now, I'd say that's a task well taken care of! Uh… were you expecting something more?
