IDK if Riako already has a plan for G-Maxes, but I just wanted to share this idea I thought of. I have two different Ideas of how this could work.

1)I believe the system to G-max a Pokemon on PH should be similar to how Megas work. Like there is a chance a Pokémon could be hatched or obtained with a special power with a G-max symbol or maybe even a sprite of the wishing stones. Maybe the Wishing Stones can be obtained through the Gem Cauldron or maybe even Mystery Boxes. Using the Wishing Stone on the Pokémon with G-Max ability will turn it into it's Gigantamaxed form.

2) My other idea is that we could get new maps that are areas from Galar such as Dusty Bowl or Giant's Seat. Depending on which map you get from mystery boxes or maybe some kind of new event, you would have a chance of getting a certain Gigantamax Pokémon. Sorta like how the current PH Alola and Burning Tower maps work. If you find a G-Max Pokémon, you can enter a Boss Battle sorta like how we obtain Legendaries. If you win you obtain the Gigantamaxed Pokémon in your party or box if the party is full.

This probably won't go anywhere- It's just something I came up with a few days ago.
Would be cool if it was implemented, if Riako has some other idea for Gigantamaxes on PH then I'd be happy to see what he comes up with. :D

I like it! It goes along with SwSh mechanics and it works well with PH mechanics too! It’s also very reasonable, unlike EVERY Pokémon that has a G-Max form can auto G-Max with a push of a button... I support!

In the new announcing gen 8 starters event they announced they were going to work with smogon and I think (unless something weird happened and i'm the only one that saw it) had a link to a spreadsheet for ? time that show some pkmn


doesn't really effect the idea but they are definitely working on these pkmn

Well obviously they are coming to PH, but this is just an idea of how it could be added. And I thought that was for the sprites?
