Why bother
Forum-Index → Diaries → Why botherI originally played on other Pokemon websites, until, in the forums of one, I saw someone with a PokeHeroes Pokemon in their signature. I clicked on it out of curiosity, until I realized that I preferred PokeHeroes, and here I am. Will be updated frequently.
Feel free to comment if you want...

Oh geez that was a lot. I'm currently making
...Jalma?
Show
hidden content
And if that wasn't enough, I'm
currently working on ANOTHER region, called... "Jalma" (pronounced
"hall-ma").
The game is called "The Ends of Earth" (this isn't a real game just a random thing that came to mind). Instead of having two main games to introduce a region, it has only one. The mascot legendary, instead of being a Jalma Pokemon, is Mew.
The game centers around the "Mysterious Myths", or the mysteries surrounding these Mythical Pokemon: Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy, Victini, Diancie, Marshadow, Micri, and Mew. Each one of these Pokemon has their own chapter, and they are obtainable as a boss Pokemon at the end of each chapter. Mew, being the mascot, is the final boss in the game.
Though this is a spin-off game, it suddenly introduces the region of Jalma, featuring these starters:
Daigol (die-GOOL), a grass duck that looks like a cross between Vinoru and Tropius, which evolves into a dinosaur duck with teeth,
Hotsocampus, a fire seahorse that evolves into essentially a serpentine Charizard,
and Aquacat, an aquatic cat holding a pearl which evolves into a mermaid cat.
It also features other random Pokemon, like Cikabona (chick-a-BOO-na), a common bird Pokemon, and Chaswald (SHAHZ-vald), a Fire/Poison Bellsprout-looking thing. Besides the new Pokemon and the Mythical Pokemon, it features a wide range of previous-generation Pokemon, yet does not include things like Pikachu or Eevee, which you'd think would be obvious.
Oh yeah, and don't even get me started on Victini in that game. It is easily one of the most confusing Pokemon in the entire thing.
When you find Victini and battle it, its sprite looks normal. However, Victini is always holding one of 11 items that can change its forme. You have no idea which item it has until you catch it. The items are:
Victory Amulet - The Victini looks normal. It's attack stat is raised slightly.
Jar of Fateleats - Don't ask what those are. The Victini is now bright yellow and its face looks odd (its eyes are smaller and its grin is larger, and has no teeth). Its defense stat is raised greatly, but its attack is lowered dramatically.
Sprite's Hat (8 colors available) - Your Victini is now a Harvest Sprite! By completing an insanely difficult quest, you can receive another Victini egg! The color of hat only affects the sprite and the cry animation it does.
Used Tissue - Your Victini looks no different, but it now has a fifth move slot. The move slot is immediately taken up by Fake Tears, and you cannot make it forget Fake Tears.
Weird, right? And don't go looking for a specific item. You have to capture Victini before you figure out which item it has. Congrats, you're stuck with Fake Tears Victini!
The quest to get a new Victini after receiving one with a Sprite's Hat is similar to the Sprite quest here on PokeHeroes, but the clues are even more vague and the things you have to do are far more specific. Apparently the Sprites are hiding all around Jalma. Once you find one, it will exclaim "I gave you a clue!" and tear off. Only after finding all seven do you receive a new Victini. The new Victini can be holding any of the held items, including another Sprite's Hat. If your new Victini has a Sprite's Hat, you can do the quest over again for a third one, and so on.
Here are the clues:
Yum, I'm eating a sandwich!
I really like collecting rocks!
I love other Pokemon, but not if they are Victini!
I want something blue, but where do I get it?
*yawn*... What a rough day. Time to get to bed.
I love water!! *uhuhu*
I'm stuck. It's hopeless. I need your help.
How to find them are put in a spoiler, even though this isn't a real game, because the locations are similar to the PokeHeroes locations.
[spoiler]Chef:
At exactly 1-1:59 PM according to your time zone, go to the Professor's lab. He will be eating a sandwich. Talk to him and he'll say "Yum, this sure is a good sandwich!" and then Chef will jump out from behind a desk. If you have never played PokeHeroes, this would be incredibly specific.
Nappy:
Go to a very specific area. Make sure you have a Pokemon with the HM move Cut and cut down a very specific tree. Nappy will fall out.
Hoggy:
Trade with another user. Play Pokemon Amie (yes, that's a thing in this game) with the Pokemon you received from the trade, and out of nowhere Hoggy will jump out from behind the Pokemon.
Timid:
Go to the PokeMart. Attempt to purchase an Oran Berry for ten $P. The man at the counter will scream, then say that the berries are out of stock. He will make an offer with you to buy Timid instead for ten $P. Fork over the money only for Timid to claim he gave you a clue and run away.
Aqua:
Talk to some guy who briefly does a Pokemon card battle with you. Lose twice in a row and then win. You CANNOT lose three times, or win twice, or do anything out of order. After winning, he will give you Aqua, whom he had shoved in a bag until someone beat him at the game.
Staid:
Go to the Pokemon Center and change your Storage Box background to light yellow. Go to the beach, then leave. While minding your own business Staid will fall out of the sky in front of you. He cannot appear when you are at the beach.
Bold:
Buy any Evolutionary Stone from the PokeMart, and use it to evolve a Pokemon. Go to the cave where you summoned Mew, and find any evolutionary item on the ground, as long as it does not involve trading. Use it to evolve one of your Pokemon. The Pokemon will evolve into Bold, who will run away afterwards.

Oh, and you want a shiny Victini? Here's how!
1: The first Victini, unlike any of the other Mythical Pokemon, is shiny-locked for inconvenience. You will not see which item it has until you battle and catch it.
2: The only Victini that can be shiny is Victory Amulet Victini. However, if it is your first Victini, it will not be shiny.
3: Your first Victini must be holding a Sprite's Hat.
4: Complete the task to receive a second Victini.
5: If your new Victini is a Fateleats Victini, a Used Tissue Victini, or a non-shiny Victory Amulet Victini, your chain ends and you cannot receive a shiny. Remember: the held item is completely random.
6: If it is another Sprite's Hat Victini, complete the task again to receive a third Victini, and hope it is not a chain-breaker.
7: Repeat until you get a shiny Victory Amulet Victini or the chain ends.
Sounds easy right? None of the other Mythical Pokemon are shiny-locked in this way, as Victini is the only one you can get multiple of.
Have I been putting too much thought into this? Yes, I have.

Sprites
WARNING: Don't click the spoilers unless you have all the Harvest Sprites, it contains location spoilers!!
Okay. Instead of saying "I got this harvest sprite" (you already know which ones I have by looking at my signature) I am instead going to turn it into a stupid little story to make it more... interesting? I cannot stress enough that you do not want to click the spoilers (the actual story) if you don't have these sprites.

Chapter One: An Exotic Adventure Begins

My name is Julie, and I'm a Pokemon
trainer!
When I say "Pokemon trainer" I don't mean "a PokeNerd who goes around collecting every kind of weird monster thing there is just for bragging rights", I mean a person who literally trains Pokemon. People bring over their 'mons to me and I try to raise them into becoming a better, stronger Pokemon. And it's the best job in the world! All I do is play with Pokemon, including my own! I have plenty of my own Pokemon that I train as well. Now this story would be incredibly boring if something weird didn't happen, so...
One day something weird happened.
I gave some Blastoise I was training with back to its trainer, got paid, and decided to call it a day. Something was sitting right outside my door. It was an egg. A Pokemon egg (what else would it be?). I had no idea what it was, but I knew it wasn't mine. I picked it up and headed for town.
"Does this egg belong to anyone?" I asked around town. A professor-looking woman approached me.
"What a curious-looking egg," she said. "Is it from your Pokemon?"
"No," I said, "I found it near my cabin."
"It almost looks like it came from a Victini," she proclaimed.
"What? No, of course not," I said. "Why would a Victini just lay an egg near my house?"
"It doesn't look like it belongs to anyone," said the professor. "You should take it home and incubate it."
So I did. I placed it in a little Pokemon bed and tried to warm it. It really did look like a Victini egg. Except with a yellow hat. Why would an egg have a yellow hat. That's so random.
Anyway. I waited a few days. Then one day, when I came home from work, my Meganium was poking at the egg.
"Don't do that," I said, nudging him away. The egg started to glow a bit.
"It's hatching," I exclaimed, because of my terrible habit of talking to myself. I've hatched Pokemon eggs before, but it was never this intense. And a tiny Mythical Pokemon came out.
"Holy Arceus it's a Victini," I shouted in shock, stepping back a bit.
"Holy Arceus it's a human," the Victini shouted, backing up against the wall.
"Wait a second," I said, trying to regain my train of thought, "It's a TALKING Victini in a yellow elf costume?"
"This is not an 'elf costume'!" shouted the weird Pokemon. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"
"I... was about the same thing," I stuttered. "Y-You're a Victini. Why would your egg be at my house?"
"Wow, you don't know who I am, do you?" said the snarky little Pokemon. He sighed loudly. "Okay. I'm a Harvest Sprite, my name is Hoggy, and I desperately need someone's help."
"What's a... Harvest Sprite?" I asked.
"Yeah yeah I'll get to that in a second," he interrupted. "You see, us Sprites live in a strange little place in the clouds, and we have our leader Rainbow to protect us at all costs!"
"Okay..." I didn't know where this was going, and why I was talking to an elf-Victini.
"Then one day, Rainbow just vanished! Poof! Gone! We didn't know where he went!"
"So.. then what happened?"
"When Rainbow disappeared, the rest of us scattered... and a strange creature turned us all back into eggs!"
"And I'm assuming you want me to help you find them."
"Exactly! Without my friends, I'm hopeless!"
Okay, this guy was weird. Probably the weirdest Pokemon I've met. But I couldn't leave a Pokemon 'hopeless'. Yet, I still had questions.
"Why me?" I asked. "Why were you at my house?"
"I love other Pokemon..." he said. "They're so cute and cuddly and OH WOW LOOK IS THAT A SHAYMIN?! IT'S SOOO CUTE CAN I PET IT??"
"Aheh. Yeah. So how many of you guys are there?"
"Seven. And then Rainbow."
"Then that's eight."
"Yeah but I'm one of them."
"That's still eight."
"Sure".
I decided to switch the subject before this got any weirder.
"*sigh* I'll help you with your little quest..."
"REALLY? Oh thank you SO MUCH!" And the next day we set off.
"Okay, where do we start?" I said, ready to get this over with.
"I... don't know." said Hoggy. "They just all ran off in different directions and I didn't see where any of them went."
"What do they look like?"
"Like me, but with different colored outfits."
"Okay, that shouldn't be too hard to find."
"But that's the thing! When we're not in our cloud home, we're hiding from everyone! And if we don't find everyone then Rainbow is never gonna come back and then we'll all be doomed forever and-"
"Okay, okay, relax. We're going to find them."
"All of them?"
"All of them."
And so it begun.
Side Notes: I knew what a Harvest Sprite was when I received Hoggy's egg. I definitely was more excited than weirded out.

"So..." I said. "Who are your friends,
and who are they like?"
"You mean besides Rainbow?" said Hoggy.
"Yes. Besides Rainbow."
"Okay, so... Chef is the red guy. He's really into cooking. Super creative name."
"So he's probably by a restaurant or something."
"Nappy's the orange guy. He really likes building and is causing a bit of a deforestation problem."
"So he's near a bunch of trees, probably."
"I'm Hoggy, the yellow guy. You know me, loves interacting with Pokemon, blah blah blah."
"...Yeah."
"Timid's the green guy. He has a berry garden and likes selling stuff. Not very timid, actually."
"So we have to find a berry garden."
"Aqua's the light blue guy. He's always asleep. Totally addicted to gambling, too. What a weirdo."
"...the Game Center..."
"Staid is the navy blue one, he loves fishing. I don't know what he does with the fish, or if I want to know."
"...Emera Beach..."
"And Bold is the purple guy. He's like a Pokemon Center. He heals Pokemon. But he's not too bold otherwise."
"...uh. That's a lot."
"I told you there were seven!!"
"Eight."
"Whatever let's go find them."
"If you're gonna talk to me like that maybe we won't." That shuts him up. Suddenly he points to something.
"Look! A cave! I bet Chef's in there!"
"Why would Chef be in a cave?" This Sprite guy was a few mons short of a team.
"I dunno. But, you never know when a Sprite might spring up at ya!"
"Suuuure."
I realized that was the Rumbling Cave. My Flygon should have be coming out any minute.
"Udni!" I shouted, and he came flying over. He dropped his Explorer Bag down at my feet. Inside... a couple berries, and two purple Mystery Keys. What luck, I had two purple Mystery Boxes!
"What are those?" said Hoggy, wide-eyed.
"Mystery boxes. They have prizes inside."
"Oooh! Open them! Open them!"
"Okay, okay! Be patient!" I pushed the purple key carefully into the hole, turned it twice to the left and... cccrrk! The mystery box opened and I looked curiously into it... and there was a map! The key broke and became useless.
"A map!" I shouted like an idiot. "A MAP!"
"Cool! A map!!" shouted Hoggy. "Wait, what's so great about a map?"
"It means my Pokemon can travel into the Vortex of Time and beat Dialga, meaning I can catch the amazing Legendary Pokemon!!"
"Uh, yeah! Sure! Awesome!"
I ran off, accidentally forgetting about my Harvest quest. I was going to go grab a Dragon-type Pokemon to help me catch Dialga.
"Uh... human!" called Hoggy. "There's still another box to open!"
"Oh... heh heh... right." I said sheepishly. I still knew no prize could be better than a rumbling map. Hoggy violently shook the box.
"There's something hard rattling in here!!"
"Hard? Like... coins?"
"No no like something big and round and hard!"
It must be an evolutionary stone, I thought. Still not such a great prize. Rolling my eyes, I pushed the key in. Hoggy's eyes practically lit up with excitement.
"It's just a rock, genius," I said. "It's not like you evolve, anyway."
And I lifted out... an egg.
It looked just like the egg Hoggy came from, but with a purple hat. But you can't get Pokemon from Mystery Boxes? Hoggy gasped the largest gasp ever.
"It's Bold!!" he shouted. "You found Bold!!!"
"I found... what?"
"Do you have memory loss??" he screamed. "Remember when I told you about my friends, and how they were hiding, and how they all looked like me, and how they were turned into eggs?"
I finally brought it together. I had found another Harvest Sprite.
"Well then, we better bring it home so it can hatch!" I said, and we headed for the cabin.
After a few long days of Hoggy's incredible impatience, the egg began to glow.
"IT'S HATCHING!!" screamed Hoggy.
Sure enough, a Victini came out, wearing a purple elf costume.
"Uff, boo, nargh.." the Pokemon grunted. He looked up in shock.
"...Hoggy?"
"BOLD!!"
Hoggy dashed toward Bold at light speed and crashed into him.
"But.. you brought me a human?" said Bold, confused.
"No see this is Julie!" exclaimed Hoggy, even though I had never told him my name and he had no way of knowing. "She said she was gonna help us find all the missing Sprites and bring back Rainbow!"
Bold walked up to me. "Thank you very much for my lifesavings me!" he said.
"Uh... yeah!" I said. "My pleasure."
"That's two Sprites down already! We're almost done!" shouted Hoggy.
"Not... really?" Two out of eight isn't really almost done.
"What are we standing around for? Let's go find everyone else!! C'mon, Bold!"
And the Sprites dashed out the door, leaving me no choice but to follow.
Side notes: I actually found Bold before getting the Vortex of Time map, though I did get them both in a row. And two different Pokemon brought back the keys, and I'm not sure if Udni was one of them.
"You mean besides Rainbow?" said Hoggy.
"Yes. Besides Rainbow."

I already couldn't wait for this to be
over.
My legs were burning from all the walking, while the two lazy Sprites just sat on me. And we still had six to go.
"Only five to go!" said Hoggy, cheerfully.
"Six! SIX!" I shouted. Why did he keep claiming there were only seven to find?
"Maybe we will find Timid's hiding," said Bold.
"Or, you know, any of the other ones," I said, putting the Sprites on the ground so they would walk themselves.
"Why does he talk like that?" I whispered to Hoggy.
"Oh. Heh. He hasn't got too great of a grasp on Human language," he replied.
"You do realize that humans have many languages, right?" I said. Hoggy completely ignored me. We continued to walk and walk and walk, the two Sprites blabbing about nonsense.
"Why does Nappy have his orange hat," said Bold, "if our heads are all orange?"
"To make a rainbow, genius," said Hoggy. "Oh! Speaking of Rainbow, how many Sprites left to find?"
"Six," I repeated yet again.
"I thought it was five."
"No, it's definitely six." Eventually my legs couldn't take it anymore and I sat down on a fallen log.
"Why does Aqua sleep," Bold continued to carry on.
"Everyone sleeps, Bold!" shouted Hoggy. "I sleep! You sleep! Staid sleeps!"
"But Aqua sleeps many times."
"Maybe it's that gambling stuff he does. I heard it's really bad for you."
"When Aqua sleeps, it can hurt the garden!"
"I've given up trying to understand you."
While the two babbled on, I looked around and noticed something.
"Why are there so many tree stumps everywhere?" I wondered out loud.
"That's so weird," claimed Hoggy.
"It looks like it used to be a forest, but someone cleared it."
"What? That's deforestation abuse!"
"It's just 'deforestation', and we need to catch whoever did it! This is a protected area!"
"Aye aye, Captain!" said the Sprites like a couple of soldiers. We ran into what used to be a forest.
After a while of searching for the criminal, Bold sat down on a stump.
"Bold, what are you doing now," I said, losing my patience.
"If we sit down, the person will come out and give us the location," he proclaimed.
"What? No! That's not how it works!" I shouted.
"Look!" said Hoggy. "There's an axe in the big chunky tree!"
"Oh no!" I shouted, realizing it was the Honey Tree. "Not the Honey Tree too!"
"What's the Honey Tree?"
"It's a tree where Pokemon Trainers put honey to try and lure over Pokemon. They love to eat the honey." I grabbed the axe and tried to pull it out of the tree, but it was really lodged in there.
"Who would just leave an axe in a tree?" I wondered aloud.
"Where the heck did Bold go?" said Hoggy suddenly. I looked over and he wasn't sitting on the stump. I wondered again why I even agreed to go on this quest in the first place.
"BOOOLD! WHERE'D YA GO BOLD??" shouted Hoggy nonstop. Eventually Bold came out from behind the Honey Tree... and he was carrying an egg!
"I found Nappy's hiding," he said. Hoggy's eyes lit up again.
"LOOK JULIE LOOK! HE FOUND NAPPY!" he shouted, as if I couldn't already see that.
"Well, I guess we have to go hatch the egg, then," I said. Surprisingly, I felt a little bit better after finding this next egg. After all, each egg brought us a little bit closer to our goal.
"I shoulda known it was Nappy," said Hoggy. "Who else threatens to cut down a honey tree?"
So we went back to the cabin, and, as usual, Hoggy and Bold wouldn't leave me alone until Nappy hatched. And sooner or later, he did.
"Uh-um-er-euhh..." he stammered, confused.
"NAPPY!" Hoggy shouted, getting in Nappy's face. "How dare you destroy the entire forest!"
"Nice to see you too," said Nappy, sarcastically.
"Why would you cut down the Honey Tree?" I asked.
"Well, I had this big plan for a giant building I was gonna build. I'm not sure what it could be used for exactly, but that's not the point. Anyway, I cut down all the trees to get wood until there was only one left... even though usually I steal all the honey Humans put out to get Pokemon, I -"
"Wait a second, you're the one who's been stealing my honey?"
"Well yeah... I don't actually like honey though, I was gonna give it to Timid so he could sell it. Is Timid with you by any chance?"
"He is not here," said Bold. "We are gonna have to find him!"
"Three down, four to go!" shouted Hoggy.
"Five," I corrected him.
For every Sprite down, one less we have to find... but another one to trail along with me. Sigh...
Side notes: Around fifteen minutes after I said that, Nappy was there, devouring all of my Great Balls and over two dozen Poke Balls. I was lucky I got him.

Chapter Four: Poison in the Danger House

There was no escape.
Fire blocked every exit to the burning forest. I looked around. I couldn't see the Sprites.
"NAPPY! BOLD! HOGGY!!" I shouted, hoping one would hear me. Suddenly, I heard a voice.
"Julie, help!" It was Hoggy, and he looked injured. I rushed over.
"What happened? Are you okay? Can you get up?" I panicked. Hoggy grunted and tried to push himself up. He managed to stand, and turned around...
"Ditto!" he said, in a creepy, high-pitched voice. He also had the wrong face... Hoggy was a Ditto the entire time! The Ditto's shriek filled the smoky air around me, and the fire closed in...
"JULIE!" Hoggy jumped onto my bed and I woke with a start.
"W-what? What is it?"
"I had this horrible nightmare! We were looking for the other Sprites and you turned around and you were a Ditto! Are you still a Ditto??"
"No, I'm not a Ditto... are you?"
"Not that I know of!" I felt relieved. I'm getting too attached to these elves, I thought.
"I could not sleep," said Bold. "Nappy snores VERY loud!"
"I do not!"
"How about we eat something and go look for the others?" I said, trying to prevent an argument.
"Dibs on the entire berry stash!" Nappy shouted, and dashed towards the kitchen.
"Oh no you don't!" I said, and ran after him.
After I ate something, we went outside. Nappy started sniffing the air rather loudly.
"Ah, smell that outside air! It makes me wanna grab my axe and chop something."
"Not unsettling at all," remarked Hoggy.
"What is that haunted house?" asked Bold.
"It's not a haunted house, it's the Game Center," I said. "It's where people go and gamble."
Hoggy gasped loudly. "Let's go in!!"
"Erm..." Was this really the place for Pokemon? We walked inside. Random men were yelling at each other and slamming cards on tables. This was definitely not my kind of place.
"Look!" shouted Hoggy. "That guy just poisoned the other guy!"
"It's not really... poison?" I said, uncertain. "It's more like a... grown-up juice that's really bad for you?"
"Poison juice! Oh no!" shouted the Sprites.
"Yes. Poison juice," I said, rolling my eyes.
A weird robot rolled up to me.
"I am Gamblot," it said. "Let's battle."
I was about to say "no", but the Sprites were staring at me eagerly. I had no choice.
"Fine," I said, and sat down at a table.
"Choose a game," demanded the robot. I picked Coinflip, as it was relatively harmless and you didn't lose much from it.
"What bet?"
"One game chip."
I flipped the coin a bit. For every heads I got two game chips, for every tails I had to pay Gamblot one game chip.
"Pfft. This is boring," said Nappy. "Raise the bet a bit, will ya?"
"Fine," I obliged. "Five game chips."
A few flips later, Bold said, "Ten game chips." Gamblot automatically switch the bet to ten, and this was getting stressful.
"Ten? REALLY?" said Hoggy. "Let's go all out! 100 GAME CHIPS!"
"Hoggy, no!" I shouted, but it was too late. Nappy jumped onto the table and started rapidly flipping the coin, costing me a lot of game chips. I got him off the table and tried to stop the game, when Nappy shouted, "Look! Gamblot's hiding something!"
I looked behind Gamblot. Under a strange cloth was... a Sprite egg!
"We got another one!!" shouted Hoggy excitedly, and he ran over to grab the egg.
"That one belongs to Aqua!" said Bold. Even I was smiling. We all went back to the cabin and eagerly waited for Aqua to hatch.
"Hey, even you're excited this time!" said Hoggy. And I was. I wasn't as bothered by this journey anymore.
Of course, eventually Aqua hatched. But he was fast asleep. Nappy flashed an evil grin. Out of nowhere, he brought out an air horn, crept up to Aqua, and blasted it straight in his ear. I walked over to the dazed Sprite.
"Uh, who are you?" he said, when he finally snapped out of it.
"Oh this is Julie! She's already helped us find Bold and Nappy and now we found you!"
"Uh... that's cool, I guess. What are you doing?"
"I guess we need to find the last four," I said. "What were they, again?"
"Timid, Chef, and Staid," said Hoggy. "But... I think they might be kinda hard to find..."
"We'll get there eventually," I said. If there's anything I've learned from this journey, it's that:
If you can't find the Sprites, they'll find you.
Side notes: I was bored, and I already knew how to find Aqua so I decided to go sprite-hunting. I had already tried before but it turns out the reason I never found him was because my bet was 5 game chips. As soon as I set it to 100 I found him within 20 clicks. However, I was going to fast and missed him. I tried again and missed him again, and then tried one more time except slower and because I was so careless I missed him AGAIN. Only on the fourth try did I actually manage to click on him.
Fire blocked every exit to the burning forest. I looked around. I couldn't see the Sprites.
"NAPPY! BOLD! HOGGY!!" I shouted, hoping one would hear me. Suddenly, I heard a voice.

Chapter Five: The Green-Headed Burglar

Aqua was not helping us on our
journey.
He walked like a tortoise, and most of the time Nappy had to tie a string around his ear and drag him. Until he got tired and forced ME to drag him. Hoggy was being lazy and sat on my head, while Bold clutched onto my back, and I was stuck dragging Aqua with Nappy hovering over me.
"Wait a second," I suddenly realized, "You can fly?"
"How else would we get to our house-in-the-clouds?" said Hoggy.
"And yet you act like you're too tired to walk which makes you hopeless." Hoggy, of course, completely ignored me.
"Look a note," said Bold. Hoggy immediately ran over and snatched the note from off the ground. Who would just leave that there?
The note read:
"Hey Hog. Yeah. I'm talkin' to you, Hoggy. With the yellow hat.
I know you're looking for me. Well, too bad, you can't find me.
Let me guess... you got a whole bunch of other Sprites with ya? Hope Aqua's not too much of a drag.
You're never gonna find me though ;)
Happy failed searching,
Timid".
Hoggy's face turned red. "Ohhhh, that green-headed burglar! Timid's hiding from us on purpose!"
"You guys seem close," I said.
"Come on!" Hoggy shouted. "We ARE going to find that little- hey, look! Timid's berry booth!"
It was your average berry booth, except it sold twelve different kinds of berries AND honey. A sign read: "Each berry is three PokeDollar, the honey five. I'M WATCHING YOU."
"Creepy," I said.
"Well obviously he's just behind the shop like usual," said Nappy. He looked behind and there was nothing there. "Oh well. We're better off without him anyway."
"That's rude," said Bold. "We should be giving him the honeys."
"Honeys...? Oh! The stuff I got from the tree!" said Nappy. I put the honey on the shelf. Nappy had told me all Timid does with honey is sell it.
"We still gotta find him, even if he is annoying," said Hoggy. "That's what we did with Nappy!"
"Wait, what?" said Nappy.
Hoggy zipped through some random person's berry garden.
"Don't do that!" I shouted. "Someone might see you!" A person opened the door. Thinking quickly, Hoggy pretended to be a strange lawn gnome. Surprisingly enough, it worked. He ran back to me.
"So how are we gonna find Timid if we can't go rummaging through berry gardens?" asked Nappy.
"Maybe he's not in or near a berry garden," I said. "If he's good at hiding, he's probably somewhere else."
"Where?" asked Hoggy. "Where else has berries?"
"Well... the... the berry shop! At Emera Mall!" I realized suddenly.
"Well let's GO there then!" shouted Hoggy. We rushed over.
"Wait a second," I realized, "Dozens of people visit the mall. If you go in they'll see you."
"I'm surprised no one saw us at the haunted house," said Nappy.
"Game center. And I think I might have to go in alone. You guys should probably hide."
"But I wanna go with you!" whined Hoggy. The Sprites stared at me with wide eyes expectantly.
"Okay fine. But you HAVE to stay in my bag." I shoved the Victini into the bag and walked inside.
"Stop moving," I whispered. "People are going to get suspicious!" I wandered into the berry aisle. Still no sign of a Sprite egg. I grabbed a couple berries and headed for the checkout counter. I didn't put them in the bag because I knew the Sprites would eat them, and I am not a shoplifter.
"That'll be 200 pokedollar," said the checkout woman. 200 Pokedollar?? Geez! Reluctantly, I handed over the money.
"Hey, aren't you the Pokemon trainer person?" she asked.
"Uh... yeah, why?"
"I found this egg in the berry aisle for some reason. Here, you can have it for free." It was a Victini egg with a bright green hat - clearly it belonged to Timid! I thanked the woman and headed back for the cabin.
Of course, after a few days Timid hatched. But he didn't look excited to see the other Sprites or confused about why there was a human there. He looked annoyed.
"Timid!" shouted Hoggy. "We just-" Timid slapped a hand to his mouth to shut him up. Slowly and sternly, he walked up to Aqua, who had just waken up.
"Say Aq," Timid said in a gravelly voice. "I got a bone to pick with ya."
"Uh... what?" said Aqua, still half asleep.
"I gave you three pokedollar so you could buy that cheap pillow-lookin' thing. And I told you to pay me back five in return."
"Uh, yeah..."
"And you never pay me back! You gonna pay for that, punk! And - oh gee now the Sprites are sidin' with humans. I'm outta here." He took off.
"Ohhh, that green-headed burglar!" shouted Hoggy, and he flew after him. "This human's gonna help us find Chef and Staid!"
"And what do I care about it? I goin' back to the Sprite house, and you do nothin' about it."
"Look. If I give you five pokedollar I stole from Julie, will you go with us?"
"I suppose."
The two came back down.
"This doesn't mean I like you, human," Timid said. "And if you go sayin' that, that gonna be the last you ever do." Well, this guy sure was pleasant. I looked over at Hoggy. He looked worried.
"What's wrong, Hoggy?" I asked.
"We-we're never gonna find Chef and Staid!" he panicked. "It's gonna be impossible!"
"Nothing's impossible," I assured him. "Especially when you've got a pack of elf-Victini with you."
Side notes: I feel really stupid about finding Timid. I thought I was supposed to buy berries from the berry market and ended up spending tons of pd on berries I didn't even need. When I went to Emera Mall, I got him in like five berries and felt very dumb afterward.

Why couldn't have the Sprites stayed
behind in the house while I searched for the other ones?
Now I had Timid tagging along, and he was less than pleasant.
"Hey woman," he said. "See that guy walkin' over there?"
"Uh... yeah," I said, not knowing where this was going.
"He got cash in his pocket. All humans do. Watch this." He skittered over to a bush near the man. He silently walked up to him, snatched a coin out of his pocket, and ran back to me. The man didn't notice.
"Hey!" I shouted. "You can't just go pickpocketing people!"
"You can't tell me what I can and can't do, woman," said Timid.
"He's always like this," said Hoggy. "What a thief!"
"IKR," said Nappy like a weirdo.
"Who are we looking for next?" I asked.
"Chef. Don't tell him I said this but I don't really like Staid all that much," said Hoggy.
"So, we'd probably find Chef at -"
"RESTAURANT!!!" screamed all the Sprites except Aqua, who was startled awake.
"There are no restaurants in Emera Town," I said.
"Then where you eat??" shouted Timid. "It's not like everyone gotta Sprite followin' em around that can grow a berry the size of a Wailord!" I wanted to respond, but unfortunately he had a point.
"Let's run all around the town," claimed Bold. All the Sprites took off.
"Where do you think you're going??" I shouted. I had to grab them before anyone else saw them. I shoved them in a bag and wandered around town, hoping no one would notice the bag was moving. I walked into Emera Mall and bought two Poke Balls.
"This is soooooo boring!!" screeched Hoggy. Everyone stared at me.
"Heh heh, just some toy I bought for my Pokemon!" I said as a lazy excuse. I quickly bought the Poke Balls and hurried out of the mall. I went into the Game Center, and sat at a table for three minutes. Then I got up again and left.
"What is she doing??" said Nappy. "This isn't going to help us find Chef!"
"You never know," I said. In reality, I had no idea what I was doing. I went into Professor Rowan's lab. He immediately tossed me a spoon.
"Here," he said, handing me a bowl with a Sprite egg in it. "This was in my soup, and I'm not happy about it!" I blinked five times and tore off.
"What is with that kid?" said the professor.
"I told you it would help," I said once we got home. Did Chef ever hatch? Uh, yes.
"Hoggeh? Is that Hoggeh??" said Chef in a strange accent.
"Yeah Chef!! We found YOU!!!" screamed Hoggy. The Sprites rejoiced. Only one more to go! I slapped myself in the face. I sounded like Hoggy. Not one more, TWO more!
"I thought you was going to be finding me first, if I'm honest," said Chef. "But anywho! I shall be making some cookeries for you to be feasting on! Including Madame Human!"
I did not want to be called "Madame Human". I also doubted a Sprite could cook. But, Chef came back with seven large plates of salad-stuff. I was surprised at how good it was!
"Now all we have to find is... Staid..." said Hoggy.
I wasn't sure I wanted to know why Hoggy wasn't a huge fan of Staid.

I trudged along as six Sprites tumbled
along behind, jabbering about nonsense and making quite a
racket.
"Why do we gotta find Staid?" asked Hoggy. "He's just gonna make things worse."
"But Staid is a friend..." said Bold.
"A friend? He almost blew me up one time!" said Nappy.
"But, Nappeh, did you not place a stink bomb under his resting hole?" questioned Chef.
"Can- Can we just call it a bed?!" Timid shouted.
"Any clue where Staid might be?" I asked.
"No idea!" said Hoggy with a grin.
"Probably bamboozling people. That's my job, too," said Timid.
"I thought we were egg..." said Bold.
"Yeah, we were eggs, but now we're not!" said Hoggy. "So Staid must not be an egg either!"
"You really don't get it, do you?" I asked, exhausted.
"Not one bit!" said Hoggy.
"Can someone just give me a general area to look?" I asked. "We've just been barreling around town and I don't even know where we're going!"
"How about in the ocean?" asked Nappy.
"Why... Why would it be in the ocean?" I asked.
"Well, he's always fishing! He's only ever happy when he's fishing." said Hoggy.
"Oh. To the ocean it is, then!" I said, heading for the beach.
I sat down on the sand and the Sprites split up. I would have looked too, but my legs were burning. After fifteen minutes, nothing had happened - and the Sprites hadn't returned yet.
"Oh, no," I thought, running into the nearby forest. All six of them were caught in a gigantic spiderweb, and it was being guarded by an Ariados.
"Yeah, funny story," said Nappy.
I tried to step near the web, but the spider Pokemon hissed at me and lunged. It was charging for me, but I didn't have any of my Pokemon with me to challenge it! The Ariados jumped for my face.
"JULIE LOOK OUT!!" Hoggy screamed, launching an electric charge that not only knocked out the Ariados, but dissolved the web as well.
"Hey, warn us before ya do that again, punk!" said Timid, slightly singed.
Hoggy jumped into my arms, tired. I realized I had misjudged the Sprites - Hoggy had saved me. I picked up the exhausted Sprites and carried them back home.
"Let's rest up. We can find Staid tomorrow," I said. I heard a familiar call in the distance - it was my Meganium. He came running.
"What is it, Ash?" I asked.
Ash revealed an egg laying on his back. It was Staid's egg - Ash had found it!
"It was here the whole time!" I exclaimed. The Sprites cheered.
"When Staid hatches, we'll all be together again!" said Hoggy with tears in his eyes.
"There's still Rainbow," I said, reminding him for the hundredth time. But I couldn't be mad. My friends were too happy for that.
But, when Staid hatched, things got a little out of control. The first thing he did was pounce on my face, knocking me over.
"Die, human! You monstrous beast, you're threatening our sanity! Be gone with you!" he yelled.
"Whoa, geez, dude!" said Nappy. "Leave the girl alone, she saved all of us!"
"Lies, traitor!" said Staid. "I'll believe it when I see it!" The rest of the Sprites stared and blinked.
"She found all of us!" said Hoggy.
"Well, not exactly," I said. "In fact, you were the ones who found each other."
"We could not have completed journey without help Julie!" said Bold.
"You know, you ain't so bad," said Timid.
"He doesn't usually take to people so you know you're good," said Aqua.
The Sprites gathered around me and I brought them into a group hug, except for Staid, who squiggled out. I tried not to cry as I remembered our journey together.
"It's not over yet," I said. "There's still one left to go."
"Yeah! Let's do it, peoples!" shouted Hoggy. It was time to find Rainbow!
"Why do we gotta find Staid?" asked Hoggy. "He's just gonna make things worse."

I got Hoggy, my first Harvest Sprite. I was obviously ecstatic about this, I had wanted one for quite a while.
However, I didn't know where any of the rest were. I was so clueless I couldn't figure it out, even with the bonus hints (though, let's be real, Staid and Bold's clues are no help).

Won Treasure Hunt for the first time. It was only game chips, but a lot of them:
I also unlocked the Mossy Forest. It caught me by surprise because I didn't know you could unlock special areas by rumbling.

I bought a Raikou. I still have not bought Entei or Suicune.
Then I went through the royal tunnel and got Regirock. I was kind of surprised because I forgot you got a Pokemon after completing the tunnel.

After a couple tries, I managed to get Regice as well.
I also got the Solastra egg.

This was one of my favorite days on PokeHeroes. I had two purple mystery boxes, and what luck, two purple keys.
And if that's not enough, a couple minutes later I opened the second one and found THIS:

One of my eggs hatched into a Bold!
Later, I challenged Dialga for the first time. I ended up losing.

Two weeks ago, I wondered if I had a Sentret with an Everstone. I went to my storage boxes to check. There, I saw a creepy ghost girl that scared me half to death and I ended up leaving PokeHeroes for two weeks.
When I felt brave enough to come back, I found this:
Obviously I kept it. It was too cute to run away from.

I put honey on the honey tree daily. Once I accidentally put two honey, but when I realized it attracted more Pokemon, I always put two honey from then on.

I was blabbing in the forums with my
friends. I said I knew where a couple harvest sprites were, but was
a bit confused on Chef and stumped on Nappy (My assumptions for a
couple of the sprites turned out to be wrong). A couple minutes
later, I checked the Honey Tree, and: . What are the odds?
November 24:
I completed the Marquee of Doom on Dragonflycave. Try it yourself!

I got bored. I already had Aqua's location spoiled. So, naturally, I decided to go looking for him.

I had tried getting him multiple times
before, but no matter how long I flipped the coin he never showed
up. Turns out, my bet was too low. I set the bet to 100 coins and
got him within 20 clicks!
Well, I found him within 20 clicks. I didn't realize that if you flipped it after he appeared he'd disappear. So I refreshed and tried again, worrying that it would take a long time for him to come back. It didn't, he appeared shortly after. But, I was being careless, and failed him again. I refreshed, remembering this time to click slowly. But, of course, I missed him a third time! Finally, on the fourth try, I managed to click him.

The Black Friday boxes were up, and I couldn't get one. I don't buy nuggets, so saving them up is a real pain, and I definitely could not reach 100 in two days.
Because 20BiTeen is such an awesome guy, he lent me enough nuggets to buy a box. I opened it up and found this:
I can't use it yet, but it's still an amazing prize. 20BiTeen, I owe you one.

I bred my Cosmoneon with a Lumineon and was surprised when I got a Gloweon egg first thing!
Also, don't you just love it when they say that to your face? I was looking for a Raylong orb thing, so that's probably what I missed, but still.

One of my eggs hatched into a Aqua!
They should probably fix that...
That day, I decided to search for Timid.

I went to the Berrygarden, and to the
Berry Market. I bought dozens of berries that I did not need, and
spent a lot of pd. I was getting frustrated because Timid wasn't
showing up. I checked a Sprite guide and I realized: You had to buy
berries from Emera Mall, not the Berry Market. After about
five berries he appeared. I felt really stupid and had wasted a lot
of pd. I would have never found him without the guide, because I
never buy berries from Emera Mall.
