hey so i've literally been gone for like. a year and a half? and i don't know what's going on so that's...fun.

if i remember correctly, then i left because i couldn't move on? like, i was (and still am) stuck on route 53 and i didn't know what to do, so i was like "eh." and just dipped

so here are my questions:
-how the heck do i get off route 53?
-how do you get a shiny?
-where do you go to interact with people?

Hey, welcome back! :]

You can get shinies by shiny hunting them, buying them on AH, trading them, getting them in Route 53 by the honey tree and by lab. By interacting with people, you can go to the forums and talk. For Route 53, I'm not quite sure what do you mean by "get off".

I think I see what you mean.

Route 53 is just a part of the site. This game isn't really exploration of routes and towns - it's different from the core series games. So there's not a way to interact with people in the way you're describing, either. This is mostly of hatching eggs and interacting with Pokemon, with some other features like fishing, route 53, etc. :)
