Soon, she was asleep. Her Pokémon came out and slept beside her. Absol was sleeping on Metagross’s head, gardevoir had her head on Altaria’s wings, and Sharpedo was in the water.

More and more Pokémon from the forest came around Kirene and her Pokémon. They were curious about a human sleeping in the woods. Some Pokémon walked around, then went away. Others stayed and slept with them.

Kirene was so exhausted, she was still sleeping. Absol got up and decided to get some food. It noticed the abundance of Pokémon surrounding them, but decided not to acknowledge them. Everyone else was still sleeping. Something caught Absol’s eye, something shiny. She looked to the left, then to the right, spotting the shiny object. In fact, it wasn’t an object, it was a Pokémon. A Larvitar with shiny skin was sleeping on the other side of the tree Kirene was on.

Kirene was still sleeping, oblivious to what happened. Altaria watched Absol walk off, but was too lazy to follow. Absol kept walking until she found a berry field. She grabbed a few of each berry she could find.

Absol carried the berry sack in its mouth, then went back to the tree. She noticed Ambrosia’s tent, but ignored it.

Absol went to the tree Kirene was sleeping on. She wondered how her trainer was still sleeping. Absol set the berries next to Larvitar. She nudged a berry towards it, gesturing for them to eat one

Espeon: Peon es espe. (I suppose we head back to Alola.)

Jolteon tilted his head curiously.

Jolteon: Jol jolteon eon? (Back to Alola?)

Sylveon nodded, and so did the others. Jolteon shrugged and nodded too.

Espeon waited until they were ready and teleported back to the same area they were at.

Jolteon and Flareon looked at all of the rubble, their ears folded.

Flareon: Eon flare flareon... (So it was true... Team Skull did this?)

Sylveon sighed sadly, turned to Flareon and nodded.
