You could save your pokedollars until you can buy the amulet coin. This increases the outcome.

You've only just started at PH, so the amount of PD you earn at first will be low. The best thing I can tell you is to keep interacting, as that'll be your easiest way of earning money. Besides that, doing other things such as keeping up with rumble missions will also help out.
