Today, when I change my Pokemon’s name, I add a ♥️ emoji in the name because I saw some Pokemon’s name have emojis. But when I click ‘change’, it shows some ‘??’ in my Pokemon’s name. Is this a bug?
(I also tried another one like ❤️ but didn’t work)

emoji’s aren’t comparable in the names. i don’t think this is a bug because i haven’t been able to put any sort of symbol in a namr

@-Fiery- : You can put emojis in your Pokémon nicknames but inputting a kind of code with it.. but, after a certain update from a while ago.. it is now impossible to do that. :(

So, the users who already has an emoji with their Pokémon nicknames (before that update) will not be able to retain that emoji in it, if they ever edited their Pokémon nicknames at this time.. :c

I won the "Event Spriting Contest" as it says on News Announcement #224.
